  1. Cold temps are really not much of an issue in a vacuum, especially with a pressurized habitat with humans in it. Most of the climate control in a space suit is COOLING, not heating. Without air for conduction and convection, all you have is radiation, which is terribly inefficient. With the habs, you might want some insulation on the parts contacting the surface, but I'm not sure even that would be necessary. It is actually for this reason that the Apollo missions had the craft rotating slowly during its transit, not just to prevent thermal stress from solar heating on only one side of the craft, but also to keep that heat from building up and heating the interior as much.

  2. What about radiations from the Sun (and cosmic radiation too)? On the ISS you can spend months without worrying about it too much since it's still protected by the Earth's magnetic field, but on the Moon you have no protection at all (or very little), and you can spend only a few days on the surface. What's the solution to that? Are the astronauts simply going to spend less time on the Moon and get more rotation? Are the modules going to include more shielding, meaning more weight? With Starship, weight is not going to be that big of a problem, but still.

  3. Thales Alenia Space is a French and Italian company, but habitat space modules are made by the Italian branch in Tourin.
In particular is remarkable that more of 50% of ISS was made in Tourin, the cargo module of Space Shuttle and European ATV were made here, the actual American Cygnus cargo module is still made here, the future habitat modules of the Axiom space station will be made here, and three of the lunar gateway modules will be made here. So at this moment in Italy is made the most part of the habitat modules in space actually and in the next future, so it's not so strange that the first surface lunar habitation modules will be made here. More over ASI (Italian Space Agency) have an historical direct partnership with NASA that starts before ESA was born, and this collaboration continue today too on the Artemis Programme and other common projects.

  4. Why do people insist on pronouncing the letters of ESA separately: "Ee Es Ay"? What if we started doing the same for NASA: "En Ay Es Ay"? I think that if you pronounce it "Nasa", you should also say "Esa".

  5. 50 лет назад система Сатурн-5 – Аполлон высаживала людей на Луну за один запуск.
Сейчас собираются высадить людей на Луну минимум за 6 запусков,
вместе с заправками на орбите Земли лунного Старшипа.

50 years ago, the Saturn-5-Apollo system landed people on the moon in one launch.

Now they are going to land people on the Moon in at least 6 launches,

along with refueling in the orbit of the Earth of the lunar Starship.

Это – явный упадок. Какая-нибудь космическая компания должна разработать более легкий
    лунный модуль.

This is a clear decline. Some space company should develop a lighter manned lunar module.

  6. The "Blue Moon" lander presented in the image (8:50) was the original model, rejected by NASA in 2021.
The new "Blue Moon", that NASA awarded the 2nd Option Contract, is totally reusable and sustainable (hydrogen engines, cheap in situ rocket fuel).

  7. I'm homeless, did drugs went into prison, where got to know God. Changed my life. Now have a home, a wife and a lovely year dauther (Tracy), and a stream of income that gets me $27,000 weekly. Plus a new identity a child of God….

  8. Now humanity to first raise next generation space station on lunar surface only, to save time, money and natural resources. It is only possible with advanced / light speed -spacecrafts with nuclear/neutron power as its fuel. It has to use AIs or 3D printers to make habitable surrounding their on lunar and other nearby planets in future then it possible to reach Proxima Centauri B within couple of years time.

  9. Will never happen, this needs to stop and stop wasting all money for nothing. When this money could be used for more useful things on this planet, now you fakers want to go to Mars or moon and fu*k up those again which eill never happen. Fking bs

  10. Pretty good video. I would just ask that you choose a different way of transitioning from one image to the next, especially when you do the "split into several pieces with some going up, some going down". Your graphics are excellent as they are, You don't need any "artsy" transitions between them. It's just visually annoying.

  11. These people are planning for humans on the Moon. I am hoping for human-sized robots on the lunar surface remotely controlled by humans from Earth. I know you are thinking about the latency in communication from Earth to anywhere in the Solar System, ‘I thought we were talking about as far as the Moon, latency of seconds?

If you watched “Accidental Truth, UFO Revelations” you would have seen them tell us about something I mentioned not too long ago, ‘Everything else is fiction?’

It has to do with String Theory or one atom beeps cussing its sister atom to beep miles away.

  12. 📍 1st will be an Earth created container (similar to as displayed or Starship).
    📍 2nd SHOULD be a Lava Tube.
📍 3rd would be massively different version using various energy fields (magnetic, etc.), and potentially under a human made glacier. Water protects from radiation, is recyclable, and can be used for energy storage. Per a 1977 paper from the U.S. Dept of Energy at nuclear power plants, 7cm water provides ~50% protection. 3 meters thick would be near equivalent to earth’s background radiation. Magnetic energy fields would further help in shielding. Hydrogen reduction of iron oxide-bearing minerals in the lunar regolith, such as ilmenite, has long been suggested as a potential method for producing water on the Moon to support exploration. Various tests show 1-14% water production by weight of processed regolith. Assuming 7% conversion/transformation of regolith to water, if we processed ~4,000 semi-truck trailers of regolith, we could create a sheet of water ice 100 meters by 100 meters at 3 meters deep (300 cubic meters of water or 275 considering the 9% expansion of water into ice). To visualize 4,000 semi-tuck trailers of regolith: an American football field (including end zones) can fit 50 semis — or 3 lanes of semis 13.5 miles long.
