  1. I totally understand the mindset of being a woman and growing up around gamers, thinking you couldn’t be ‘feminist’. It took me a while to get out of that mindset.

Anyways, all that bullshit aside, THIS WAS A GREAT EPISODE AND A FANTASTIC REACTION!! I don’t think I’ve ever been excited for someone’s reaction to season 4 like I have been with you two! I’m loving every moment.

  2. I didn't comment at the time but I'm glad you addressed the feminist thing. It was jarring. It's been beyond sad to see women recoil from the label in recent years but your explanation makes perfect sense.

The term has definitely been poisoned. But also when women use that disclaimer, it comes off as "I am not one of those shrill harpies that [want to, uh, secure women's rights as equal to men]." Basically "I'm not like those other girls!" energy. It's often a "pick me" mentality. Glad to see that's not the case here.

  3. First, I want to say you guys are a lovely couple and I wish nothing but the best for you both. Watching your reaction videos is a wonderful way for me to enjoy a series I love through fresh eyes with no preconceptions about the show.

Its sad that being labeled a "feminist" is worth a moment of your time worrying, let alone s nearly nine minutes of intro to this video.

The truth is the social world of online gaming isn't representative of normal healthy human society. It is a radically dysfunctional niche community populated by a hugely disproportionate number of young male trolls and otherwise socially inept people who would rather attack and humiliate anyone who challenges their extremely fragile naive notions of masculinity than actually respect a female as an equal. Gamergate. Enough said.

Your unconscious reflex habit of saying you aren't a feminist is such a sad indictment of the community you spend so much time in. It is as offensive as if you had pretend not being a woman just to be accepted for who you are, let alone respected as an equal.

I hope you find the strength to reject the stigma gamers attach to the label "feminist" and learn to, Tyrion says in the pilot episode to Jon Snow about being called a bastard, "wear it like armor and it can never be used to hurt you."

Remember your first words after that line, "I mean, that is true."

  4. It's not just in the gaming industry. Feminism is a bad word because feminism is a useless, primitive branch of cultural marxist propaganda, and the angry, man-hating dykes who support it insist it has something to do with equality and other imaginary things like gender pay gaps and patriarchy.

  5. Don’t worry ab what ppl say. Just ignore them. Feminism isn’t what it used to be and labels are one extreme to the next. Let’s stick to reactions and enjoy them without ppl in their feelings wanting to be offended by something. When you address it, you give them the attention they’re seeking wether it’s good or bad. Love you guys and all your wacky convos.

  6. I love how you guys complimented Joffery's actor, bc you're right, he is incredibly talented in how he made us all hate him.
I'm not sure if he retired from acting? I think I heard he is now working for a charity organization

  7. I get the feminist thing. Nowadays people hear feminist and they think of loud, rude, nasty women. Modern feminism is extreme. I'm the more old fashioned feminist, let us have rights, but not at the expense of others. And let's be classy about it. Classy women got us the right to vote. 🤷‍♀️

Edit to add: Lady Olena, that you call granny, my daughter calls Savage Grandma.

Also, while Joffrey was horrible and 100% deserved his death and worse, I feel sorry for the cast. The actor is apparently a sweetheart and the cast was devastated to lose him!

  8. What do you mean "stand up for women"? Why do women need standing up for? Do you mean a REACTION to the likes of Anita Sarkisian? Blame her for fucking things up for you! Serious question: why do women never hold feminists to account, when they act like animals, fuck shit up for you without you asking them to; speak for you without your permission, invoke an understandable reaction from men, leave you holding a bag of dicks and get away with it all. Women blame men for their due reaction and never address the feminists! I'd really like to know that!

  10. About Theon, I know you guys talked over one of his key moments when he said "My real father died in king's landing. I made a choice an i chose wrong." It's kind of a key moment in his character arc.
