It Ends With Us Legal Battle: Justin Baldoni Releases Raw Footage of Blake Lively On Set

Justin Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, shares new video of the director working with Blake Lively on set of the film at the center of the actors’ he said, she said legal battle.

In response, Lively’s legal team tells ET, “Justin Baldoni and his lawyer may hope that this latest stunt will get ahead of the damaging evidence against him, but the video itself is damning. Every frame of the released footage corroborates, to the letter, what Ms. Lively described in Paragraph 48 of her Complaint. The video shows Mr. Baldoni repeatedly leaning in toward Ms. Lively, attempting to kiss her, kissing her forehead, rubbing his face and mouth against her neck, flicking her lip with his thumb, caressing her, telling her how good she smells, and talking with her out of character. Every moment of this was improvised by Mr. Baldoni with no discussion or consent in advance, and no intimacy coordinator present. Mr. Baldoni was not only Ms. Lively’s co-star, but the director, the head of studio and Ms. Lively’s boss.

The video shows Ms. Lively leaning away and repeatedly asking for the characters to just talk. Any woman who has been inappropriately touched in the workplace will recognize Ms. Lively’s discomfort. They will recognize her attempts at levity to try to deflect the unwanted touching. No woman should have to take defensive measures to avoid being touched by their employer without their consent.

This matter is in active litigation in federal court. Releasing this video to the media, rather than presenting it as evidence in court, is another example of an unethical attempt to manipulate the public. It is also a continuation of their harassment and retaliatory campaign. While they are focused on misleading media narratives, we are focused on the legal process. We are continuing our efforts to require Mr. Baldoni and his associates to answer in court, under oath, rather than through manufactured media stunts.”

  1. So I just read an article where they interviewed an intimacy coordinator. She was pointing out near the beginning of the scene, how Justin kept trying to kiss her. Blake was uncomfortable and kept having to pull away and was using talking as a way to prevent the kissing. The intimacy coordinator said him trying to kiss her is a big no no from a movie production standpoint. If you watch it again from that perspective you can see what she’s saying.

  2. I realize I might be alone in this. Watched this three times, first time I didn’t quite see BL’s point, tbh. Then I watched it again, through her eyes and felt uncomfortable. Third time, I can’t even finish this clip. The script only says to slow dance. Imagine if this were your dad or brother who were told to slow dance with you, and THIS is how they acted, nibbling your neck and thumbing your lips…Creepy as hell and very uncomfortable.
    I stand w Blake

  3. German here. Maybe we are more relaxed about what actually is considered harassment. I do not see it here. They are acting for heaven‘s sake. If she was so uncomfortable, maybe she should have pressed charges and stopped working with him. I see a guy who tries to act in a romantic scene. He‘s doing his job. I always loved Blake and I don‘t know if he harassed her, in the video above he did not.

  4. The script says nothing about kissing yet JB is insisting on kissing or almost kissing :))) BL is trying to stay professional by insisting on talking to make the scene romantic without being kissed and people are translating it as being bossy. God help Blake in this case 😢

  5. I think the thing to remember is this is just one part of her complaint. Her complaint details meetings about his behaviour. None of us know if he did anything or not. But if he did, he is using one thing to convince the public that none of it happened when we already know he was inappropriate at times towards her. If he did this , this is classic behaviour of a perpetrator gas lighting their victim.

  6. How can people not see what is happening here?!?! There is ZERO kissing, smelling or being physically intimate in this scene at all YET JB will not stop trying to kiss her, rub his mouth all over her neck & she is so visibly uncomfortable! He is pushing the boundaries without an intimacy coach present & he is trying to turn a slow dance scene into an intimate kissing scene!

Blake clearly tried to stay in character but couldn’t because he kept trying to kiss her & make the scene more than a slow dance!

He should have never said her skin smells good, she is a wife & mother & he has a wife & it’s not part of the script. He crossed the lines as acting & was trying to make it a real connection & Blake was trying to avoid that. Men are weak, especially in close proximity to a beautiful women & it clearly shows here.

Blake was not letting him kiss her as it was not part of the scene yet he kept pushing her, hence why she kept saying “let’s just be talking”

This was not acting! He was making a move on her & she knew it!

Just look at her eyes when he goes to the right side of her neck & is kissing her neck, she is rolling her eyes! NOT IN THE SCRIPT PEOPLE!

    I hope she destroys him!

  7. HE is acting thats clear to see. He is directing so he wants particular things in the scene. Blake clearly forgot she is just an actress in a romance/DV Movie and there are touchy feeling close scenes. She fancies him that is why she is lying. If she was uncomfortable fair enough but you are an actress either speak up during the scene as you were yapping enough about what you want or shut it😊

  8. I don't think Ryan has ever showed her this kind of affection or sensuality that Justin did in the filming of this one scene their entire relationship together, and she got completely rattled and unable to stay in character. Then she used this incident to paint Baldoni as a sexual harasser to try and save her reputation after her awful promotion of the film. Her insisting they talk, like that's more romantic than what he was doing and trying to portray in the scene is so ridiculous, it's obvious why he was not on board with a lot of her rewrites. I think she couldn't give what the role needed without being turned on by Baldoni or falling for him. The guy is way more attractive than Ryan Reynolds, nose, and all.

  9. If she was uncomfortable she should have said so IN THE MOMENT. I got the impression that she was feeling somewhat intimidated like when you blush because you like the guy. She couldn’t stand the silence, it was making her uncomfortable so perhaps she is not so “professional”, she was going with it. There’s a part where she caressed his face… so I’m confused now 😂
