With 90 hostages still held captive in Gaza, we echo the heartfelt sentiments of Israel Philharmonic Music Director Lahav Shani.
Shani led a stirring rendition of Israel’s national anthem, Hatikvah – ‘The Hope’ – following the return of the first three Israeli hostages released as a result of the ceasefire-hostage deal, and dedicating the performance to the captives still held in Gaza.
While we rejoice in the return of four more hostages yesterday, we share in this hope, and pray for the safe and immediate return of all remaining hostages to their families.
