not an impossible figure, IDF attacks focused on any suspicious activity early in the war was causing collateral damage on hostage fatalaties at a rate of 4-10 a month, as 'suspicious' activity that involved fighters remaining in a fixed location would almost always be because it was where they kept hostages. In effect thus far all hostage fatalaties have been caused by IDF, it is not out of the questions there are very few left.
Also another elephant in the room is Gaza increased its number of hostages, as they captured more IDF soldiers. Only civilian hostages will be released, and since the IDF has accidentally killed most of them – there may only be prisoners of war left now. Which technically are not hostages.
