The Israel Defence Forces have decided to ground 11 U.S.-made F-35A stealth fighter jets from its humongous fleet. This after the U.S. Air Force F-35B jet crashed in Texas last week. The Israeli jets will be reviewed as The Jerusalem Post reported they have the same issue as the ones in the U.S. Lockheed Martin, the company that manufactures the jets, has however denied the claims. #1 grounding an aircraft due to safety concerns happens all the time and wouldn't be considered a "snub".
#2 the two variations use a different landing technique and the Israeli version wouldn't be at risk to the same issue.
The American plane was going through the standard checklist of testing at the factory, prior to being released to the service. It was testing the vertical landing capabilities of the plane.
The model that the Israeli air force uses, lands on a runway typical of all standard planes.
