Israel-Gaza war: Fighting resumes as seven-day truce collapses

Fighting erupted in Gaza again this morning after the collapse of the week-long truce, with both sides blaming each other – while Israel dropped leaflets over the south of the enclave telling civilians to flee.

According to the Hamas-run Gaza health ministry, 178 people have been killed since this morning and hundreds injured – and that in total more than 14,800 people have now died since the war started.

The IDF said it had carried out strikes against 200 targets in Gaza, while more than 50 rockets into Israel were fired by Hamas, designated a proscribed terrorist organisation by the UK.

Israel says 137 hostages are still being held inside Gaza, including at least 17 women and children.

    But the second time, who attacked first?

    Last month, Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel.

    Israel retaliated.

    And what happened next?

    Most of us criticized and mocked what Israel did and sided with the one who threw the first stone.

    Please correct me if I'm wrong.

    It was also more than a week before someone intervened and agreed on a "4 days truce".

    And surely most of us hope that it will be extended.

    But what happened?

    Hamas threw stones first for the second time.

    The question?!?

They (Israeli) are only fighting a civilian population and the resistance only being lightly armed against a fully fledged military, not to soon they will see the unification of the muslims and then the opposition will scare them to there cores, the very nature of the Palestinians is to know how they bare there losses with patience and give thanks to the creator , those very people or there descendants when the time arrives will show what real courage is….

Does anyone remember the episode of the original Star Trek series where two entities had removed the modern weapons from the Enterprise crew and Klingon crew and had them fighting with clubs, blades etc. KIrk and the Klingon Commander finally realize all of the violence is strengthening the two entities so they stop fighting and laugh away the two entities because the violent energy has stopped? Was Roddenberry telling us something? I wonder what two entities those were? HMMM…… Watch those old Star Treks. Roddenberry was hinting folks. All this fighting is being caused by two spirits: One who claims virtue and hates the other and one who claims injustice was done to it and hates the other. They have us doing the fighting, dying to wage their war against each other. Time to stop doing their fighting, dying and servitude and tell them they need to let it go or go somewhere and fight each other all they want, but to leave us out of it!

  33. evacuating or become refugees in the war zone is common in all war zones, look ukran rusia war…so the arab countries and Palestine neighbours should accept refugees from Palestine…if they really care about “innocent people” accept them in Arab countries…they give free food ,shelter for hams leaders, free aid, free weapons etc they give Palestine people…why don’t they accept “innocent Palestine people”…???
