If you think the movie is shit bc of this recap, don't. The acting is amazing, as well as the music. It's kinda ruined with this fast recap shit ngl. Not to mention x ruining the story. The movie made you believe the monsters were real, and even after it was revealed they were fake, the guy dressed as one at the end still seamed real.

I saw this one when I was 8yo
I actually like this film. It scared the shit out of me at the time. I think it mostly works, even the twist about why the village exists. The humans in the monster costumes inexplicably being able to make insane sounds and the film somewhat bending reality for them is probably the thing I'm most critical of. But it doesn't ruin it or anything because this film looks great, has great acting, is genuinely scary, and is overall pretty fun and satisfying.
