‘Isn’t it past your jail time?’: Jimmy Kimmel mocks Donald Trump at Oscars 2024

Jimmy Kimmel called out Donald Trump during the Oscars after the former US president called him the “worst host”.

“I was told we have like an extra minute, and I’m really proud of something and I was wondering if I could share it with you. I just got a review,” Mr Kimmel said at the 96th Academy Awards.

“Has there ever been a worse host than Jimmy Kimmel at The Oscars,” Mr Kimmel said reading the post from Trump.

“Blah, blah, blah, make America great again,” Mr Kimmel said as he continued to the post.

Mr Kimmel later went on to say, “ok now, see if you can guess which former president just posted that on Truth Social. Anyone? No?”

“Well, thank you, President Trump. Thank you for watching, I’m surprised you’re still – isn’t it past your jail time?”

  1. Mean spirited RDJ joke? It’s hugely inspirational to remind people how far he’s come from that past to Marvel’s biggest star and Oscar winner, RDJ certainly appreciated it by participating in the gag.

  3. There are a lot of people that love that man? Actually not the majority – he has never & will never win the popular vote. And especially not in Hollywood, where he is largely despised. The saddest (or funniest) thing is that Trump desperately wants the Hollywood elite to love him but they never will.
