  1. Got offered drugs multiple times when in Fiji a few years back.

What bothered me in Nadi was the divide, its literally turn right for luxury then turn left for poverty. Have no interest in going back

  2. Itโ€™s funny, I was flying back from SIN on BA12 last night (flew from SYD the day before) watching this video and they were serving the economy drinks in Fiji airways plastic cups, kinda ironic given the history lesson that was unfolding for my in this vid

  3. Hope you enjoyed your trip to Taveuni, my favourite island in Fiji. Known as the Garden Island owing to the amazing nature there. Did you find time to get to any of the waterfalls, or out in the strait to snorkel?

Something to add – Taveuni does actually have flights to/from Suva as well! Fiji Link operates 3x weekly (Mon/Wed/Fri) as well as another local carrier, Northern Air, who operates 4x weekly (Wed/Fri/Sat/Sun, extras in peak) with either a BN2 Islander or a Bandeirante. Some of the rarest types in the Pacific.

PS – isn't that BNE-NAN redeye so fatiguing lol

  4. Great video! Well narrated, well researched, great archival footage and visual representations, and lovely to see your mum with you!

Only one little thing if it helps future videos: it's spelled Kiribati ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ฎ but pronounced "Kiri-buh-ss".

Hope you make it there and Nouvelle Caladonie (New Caledonia) one day…

    Keep up the great work!
