Is this the Best Way to Improve in Rocket League?

Today I’m going to find out what the BEST way to improve in Rocket League is.

I played with a Champ player in my Supersonic Legend SSL lobbies for a week! Will he improve faster than the average Rocket League player?

  1. As a gc3 last season (gc2 div3 atm) I can totally say that I've been wanting to play in higher ranked lobbies for a while. I really do think that playing with better players is a good way of improving. Don't hesitate doing the same thing with gc's because I'm all for it. Would be fun LOL!

  2. Idk if anyone else feels this way, but when I play in c1 it feels like you are forced to slow down because if your teammate cannot keep up with your pace then you end up in a position where you have to slow down or even stop.

  3. In my lobbys i be having people that let ne defend solo and dont rotate back then i ask why they do it and they say for a pass but how tf am i supposed to pass if 2 kids keep presuring me and my teammate just sits in there half

  4. I can say, for me personally, I was plat 2 for a very long time. I started playing with me GC and Champ friends pretty regularly mixed with a lot of independent training and I climbed up to Champ pretty quickly. I even got my GC friends claiming I am a bit better than some of my champ friends because they haven’t been doing the same thing so my improvement sky rocketed where theirs stayed pretty stagnant. So I fully think that playing in higher ranked lobbies and having useful conversations while playing is one of the best ways to improve.

  5. Playing in much higher lobbies and having a good coach do a replay review every like 2 days or so to keep focusing something for 2 days at a time, would imo be the best method for improvment, you get the game sense training from the coach and the experience in higher lobbies, plus speed from the high lobbies.

  6. idk abt y’all but i feel like, yes, playing with higher ranked players will make you improve quicker but you also start to gradually get better if you watch how high ranked players play and practice for hours in training packs and keep learning through experience. I mean I just started playing in 2021 and I was in plat 3 for a while, got up to d3 after a couple months and finally now im in c1 and im finding myself getting better everyday the more I play and the more I watch other people play(people who excel at the game ofc)

  7. Opinion from someone who’s watched thousands of hours of rl videos: If you’re gonna skip around this much then keep a running subtitle of the game number and player name

  8. Please if you could respond to this. I may type a long paragraph but I’ll try to make it short as possible lmao. I’m currently bouncing between diamond 2 div2 and then back to div1 but I solo que almost 24/7. I have friends who play but they aren’t as good and don’t want to get as good. I always try to spend a little time air dribbling in free play and packs but I can never follow up the ball in the air off the wall and then staying with it while going to the goal. I use air roll left. I also try other things like dribbling and I mix it up here n there. While I play I feel like I’m not confident in a lot of things. Going for the ball or when I have it in possession I tend to go for something but I can never keep it. Is there anything you could give me to get better all around whether that be air dribbling or ground play/ map awareness. I feel like I practice alot but I get absolutely nowhere and I watch tons of videos but I just don’t feel like I’m improving. It’s very hard to keep at it. I know you need thousands of hours to become a god but I just want to at least see improvement and I just simply can’t.
