I have had my steam mop for about 10 years now. The husband is banned from both the mop and the mini steamer (he broke one or each)
But I love them. Absolutely awesome!
We have had a steam cleaner for years. We got it because my GF was allergic to cleaning stuff with harsh chemicals. I like it a lot, and it cleans all those hard-to-reach places. Have a great summer ☀️
I LOVE my Shark for my sheet vinyl floors. You might mention: Do NOT use steam on laminate or wood floors.
Steam mops are great for pushing dirt around your floor. Very little benefit to just using a normal mop.
Buy a vileda magic mop!
I use the cheap purple shark steam mop and it’s great, think I paid $40 tops. Uses pump action to dispense the steam so not much can break on it
If I watch a YouTubers video at 1.5x the speed does that make the YouTuber get 1.5x less the watch time? I’m real curious about that one.
My neighbors daughter used to work for a professional cleaning company. They will not use the steam mop because the heat from the steam will eventually pull up the glue on your vinyl or linoleum floors any type of floor that you’ve stuck tiles down onto
I’m so bummed because I have animals and I really like the fact of using the steam mop so you are not putting any chemicals down on your floors
I have the Bissell power fresh steam mop and I love mine I use it a lot on my hard floors and I have a rug in the living room so I put the carpet glider on and it really makes a difference but every now in then I will pull out the carpet shampooer and shampoo the rug but for refreshing and killed all of the allergies and dust mites my steam mop is really good

The best thing I've ever found to clean grout is a drill brush, they sell a wheel shaped one that is amazing for grout and certain other jobs.
Absolutely not. Get a canister unit which will do the same mopping and much much more. No proprietary pads, much more powerful too. Besides, mopping the floors are just as effective using a standard mop (you still have to vacuum after). A steamer doesn't do anything special to floors. A steamer is best used for stuff like grout, corners, fabrics, car detailing, etc.. Hence get a canister. Why waste your money on a one trick pony.
Ps,
If you want your machine to last longer than 6 months, use distilled water only. If you use tap water, your unit is guaranteed to malfunction.
My HomeRight steam cleaner does all that and more. It's a canister model with squeegee attachments for windows and shower doors, and different brushes (even a bras brush for grills). There are different nozzle sizes, as well. I wouldn't trade it for ten of any other kind. Great video, but I love my machine better.
I hate the Swiffer sheets. They leave the floor sticky which in my book that means they're not clean.
I have a shark steam mop and love it I’m always amazed how dirty my floors are even though I keep a clean home. I’ve recommended a steam mop to everyone I know.
My Shark has a shot of steam feature and 3 heat levels. You can change the pads without touching them, too. Even though they are washable, the pads never get really clean.
I'm dropping $100.00 to get me a steam mop!

I have aShark steam mop and that's the same filling cup. It doesn't have settings like this one. Cool. We just put down laminate vinyl tiles and the instructions say to not use a steam mop. Maybe if I had a low setting…

The steam mop pushed the jelly and didn’t pick it all up. You seemed to not want to show that.
Totally love steam mops. Your floors are dry in a heartbeat. It makes the house smell fresh with no chemicals. I use a handheld steamer to clean the grout and it just buzzes through the mess, then you wipe the residue up with a towel. Can't use the steam mop anymore as our new house has hardwood floors that need to be resealed and none of the steam mops I've ever had are recommended for hardwood floors.
I use a steam mop on my engineered hardwood floors about once a month, but weekly in summer. Our desert humidity is very low (8%) and the steam keeps them clean and looking like new. And it takes so little distilled water to get the job done.
You keep an empty apartment just to use for testing products???
omg that is a 99% copy of the Shark S1000WM. I have it and the pads are exactly the same down to the grey design and baby blueish tint

I have the basic $50 Shark and it works fine. Thinking a cordless would be the best upgrade though
I have a steam mop as well. I mopped my kitchen then used my swiffer to mop it again…the steam mop left lots of dirt behind.
Have you done a video about things to help clean up after dogs? I have suggestions that work.
Better buy the black and decker one , it have a lot more attachment , the point of steam mop is to be use for multiple purposes , clean window , your kitchen cook top, bathroom , ect ect . dry and wet hard floor vac is much better for cleaning your floor and not to mention most are battery power.
I have a floor steamer, but a different brand. It works really well too. I was also surprised. About the same price
The steam also kills all kinds of bacteria. It leaves things much more sanitized

I recently got a steam mop, it's great because I don't need to use my sink as a mop bucket anymore, plus mine is a 2 in 1 so I can take the steam part of the mop and use it on almost any surface.
Looks good of course any steam mop will get that dirt u didn’t know u had but the thing to know is what’s the temp is it hot anytime actually kill the germs. Either way it’s so nice using a steam mop because they get that deep down dirt and I like the smell of the steam after finished
we got shark steam pocket mop lifeway and we used it quite often.
