Z1 you can't make certain items in the workbenches that are dark because you have collect/made a prior resource so they remain unknown
Love your videos, new subscriber. I would have thought that the vacuum might be able to suck up resources like the water from the pump, where the collector only gets things that are loose on the ground. With automation, I do think that flowers would be one of the more difficult things. I could see it being very useful over in your furnace line. All of your later items require the earlier items to craft. So if you set a supplier for gold, it would pull the iron bar and the coal that are automatically getting collected and feed it into the furnace to get gold going without your help. If you set up a collector with all of the raw resources set as the filters, you could bring all of your resources in, click quick stack on that one collector, and it would start your whole production line of furnaces and suppliers.

You’re missing an artefact that will passively charge breakers (great for when you forget)

Btw artefacts can be crafted in multiple different buildings (anvil, spinning wheel, inscription table, etc.)
lol watching this is so funny, i can understand how some of what hes doing is confusing. however hes getting confused on things he doesnt need to get confused on, Had to wait till the end of the video to give my tips. first off you are doing a more difficult automation, for this you need the automa clicker for the water capsules, and the V2 supplier that holds 6 items. you need the advanced research for better automation. synergies are the green items and without synergy you cant craft it. you also need to get more islands and always be upgrading skills. as for what automation you can do now its mostly breaking and collecting, plus the supplier V1 is mainly used for the furnace and spinning wheel. make chests to hold resources have suppliers pull from chests and leave the furnaces on infinite
I think the vacuum forces things like the water pump to drop their items so it can pick them up… could be wrong though.
Also, maybe the advanced research table gets you better machines so that you need fewer to automate something?
There is a way to auto-pull water out of collectors, but you haven't unlocked it yet. I'd get a couple more islands further before really starting to automate stuff

You have many multipliers from things like orbs as well as chances to get bonuses. This gets you said high RP.
While I stink at multi-step automation, I will, concur with the others, you need to unlock more artifact things to manage your automation better. Best you research and place items to unlock more then see all things you can work with instead of stop-gaping things you know only as "???" (And that means yes, finish your Durasteel quota to unlock and build those things connected to it.) Yes, synergy 8is important so have things researched crafted and placed nearby to get things otherwise not accessible.
If this is too complicated, just focus on unlocking research and island for now, and return when you have a lot more things accessible. Including upgrading your skills to get more book rewards.

The collectors have a filter as they pick things up. If it picks up 9 diff items, but a 10th type drops, it won't pick it up even after you collect from it. The vacuum picks up all the items, but doesn't store them as a filter. When you collect from a vacuum, it clears the inventory.

Hmmm the island rotating thing is cool, but I wonder why the islands don't just spawn aligned?
Whenever you have a breaker or slayer they all accumulate points that go to you
supplier can also pull from a chest
Im close to end game and I could never figure out half the automation things.
once I got the pick up items from floor it was easier to just switch islands every so often and put breakers everywhere, then craft everything I need manually

Z, you need to do a stream of this game, just so I can finally shout out everything you are missing. It's annoying knowing more about what's going on even though I haven't even played the game!
I thought I noticed the water thingy near the collector always being empty, and the collector often having several water capsules? I may have been wrong though.
(Edit: looks like it's happening in this video too, at 35:13 you can briefly see the collection ray)
i hope there is a better way to automate, it is crazy to have to set up that many things to make one product
