  1. I sleep well every night, whenever i see a Runick player get rekt hard, because that is what you deserve for netdecking a toxic stall deck (Konami could have made all the non-Quick Play Spell HOPT but they are capitalists so they want to sell hotcake products to feed their ego of greed).

But i am sad that the Synchro Runick player lost 🙁 that is one Runick variant that i actually don't mind facing and losing to, because at the very least, my opponent didn't go "set four floodgates and pass the turn".

  2. At this point I'm certain that Runik is the most unhealthiest deck possible. Seriously, I wouldn't be suprised if this deck single handedly kills master duel if Konami doesn't ban some runik cards or at least a lot of these floodgates.

  3. Floodgate is the problem, I had try Lunalight Leodance against Runick, she can't be destroy, can't target, and attack twice, some time I win when Runick didn't draw skill drain, but when they draw it, it game over for me

  4. Depends how Konami wanted master duel to be a Bo1 or Bo3

Feather should go to 2 if it's not going for Bo3 in tournament

Runick is perfectly fine until getting constant floodgates

Player would have to side in either more backrow removal or more HT to deal with backrow deck or heavy monster combo deck that provide ton of negate

Bo1 is the problem as no one can side against all of it, C useless against floo, droplet/darkruler/nib useless against trap/backrow deck etc etc

In the end for Bo1 it's always"draw the out" of what u put in the deck coz there no side deck to argue about it

That's what unfair and unfun master duel,u either draw the out or brick the hell out of your hand because your card are useless against some matchup

Trap deck/backrow are honestly weak to side deck

Goes the same for combo deck if u side in droplet/dark ruler etc

But Bo1, yeah good luck, choose either 1 to side for and hope for the best

Either drew the 1 off that u side or surrender

  5. I think my Shiranui deck is the best counter for this deck because i fought so many floodgate runick players but they can't hold a candle with my Shiranui because of spirit master and my Shiranui deck has a 3 necroface anti spell fragrance but i think it's just luck because my deck is dogsh*t i just build that out of frustration for being match with floodgate runick everytime XD

  6. It's not even about being tough to 2nd turn against it, but it's just such a boring match. yugioh really changed, creating outdecking strategy archetypes, remember the time where people had to use the brain to create this strategy? Good times…

  7. I love how people complain about this deck or that other deck being too powerful, when the only thing that makes a deck truly powerful is how does said deck fare going 1st. Sure, most decks can deal with a full board going 2nd to some extent, which is why some decks are specifically built to go 2nd, but the interaction between players during that 1st turn is strictly limited to whatever handtrap the going 2nd player may have. No handtraps = no disruption, meaning the going 1st player can go nuts and draw/summon their entire deck onto the field, making it an uphill battle for their opponent.
