Is Splinter GAY in TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: MUTANT MAYHEM? #shorts

So, you might be wondering if Splinter is gay in the TMNT Mutant Mayhem movie, right? Well, the movie does touch on Splinter’s romantic life a bit, and it got people asking questions. The movie gives Splinter a whole new backstory, making him a unique version of his usual self. But the unexpected part comes with his connection to cockroaches. Yep, there’s this cockroach called Scumbug that’s tied to his past, and they end up having a surprising romance by the end of the flick. Now, some folks got a bit confused and started wondering if Splinter is gay because of this romance. Let’s clear things up. Splinter is not gay in Mutant Mayhem. Turns out Scumbug is portrayed as a female cockroach throughout the movie. In the end, they’re seen together with other mutants in the sewers, side by side, holding hands. But this confusion started because of Paramount’s marketing made a little mistake by calling Scumbug “Himself” on the movie poster, which made people think she was male. So if you saw that before watching the movie, it’s totally understandable why you’d think Scumbug was Splinter’s boyfriend.

  2. Maybe the Ninja Turtles should just go back to basics. They keep stopping and rebooting this series so many damn times. A few times they had some good things going and pulled the rug. The 80s series was good. The 2003 cartoon was good. The 2012 cartoon was good and all of those got cancelled. They should stop trying to modernize the turtles and just adapt it as a product of its time. In an era where stranger things is successful, you could have a movie or series set in the 80s. Either adapt the original darker run of the comics, or something in a similar vain as the 80s cartoons or the first two live action films. Or hell adapt Last Ronin. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredders Revenge Sold millions copies. So there’s a market for that iteration of turtles. Batman vs TMNT also did pretty well. And the ninja turtles could use a consistent portrayal . Instead of reinventing them constantly. Modern audience would eat up 80s turtles. Cause they don’t need everything modernized or catered to them. That’s just what out of touch Hollywood elitist think they need.
