why can't a 3d monster taming game look good graphically? clashing art styles between character models and the environment/all other models make it look like an asset flip
Thing is this isn't really comparable to Pokemon. If anything it's main comparison should be Ark. It just has copyright friendly monsters instead of dinosaurs

I'm very happy they made it play more like ARK than Pokemon. I haven't played ARK myself, but I'm glad they've done a good job countering the cheap Pokemon clone allegations.

I, as many others saw this as a meme game but it actually looks like it has a lot ot tought put into it!
Surprised no one mentioned how similar it feels/looks to Genshin Impact, the movement, the 3D style, the inventory, the world, the beggining on a beach, and even stuff like the boss "entrances" and the boss "scnearios" all really reminded me of Genshin.
I’m playing it and I am liking the crafting stuff . Can’t wait to do more with it
This game looks incredible. Like a hyrbid of Dauntless and survival rpg. Obviously Pokemon but I feel like that's a bit of a shallow comparison.
Looks fun but I am looking for a more casual experience and this game looks grindy. It's the same reason I avoided Ark.

Is this pc controller friendly?
The juxtaposition between the realistic world textures like the stone+grass+mountains+even the fire, and the smooth stylized texture and design of the NPCs and monsters is too jarring. I think just a little bit more stylization of the overworld to help the monsters fit in it goes a long way.

Does he consider games like Tales of Symphonia a monster tamer game even though its structure of gameplay is totally different?
I feel like I’ve had a whole character arc regarding this game. The brutality really turned me off it since it just felt like it was needlessly violent. But the more information I got about it made me understand what the devs were going for. While I still have my gripes, specifically when looking at the designs of some of the monsters, I have a sense of respect for it. I’m not sure I’ll buy it just yet, but I’ll at least be keeping it on my radar.
I like the game so far, I jsut cant get over the artistic difference of the world vs enviroment, I disconnects the whole game for me.
This looks like if Pokémon and Ark survival evolved had a baby.
The thing I kind of wish was that you could have multiple Pals out at a time, and be able to use their abilities similar to how you might swap characters in Genshin for combos
It's just a survivor type game.

This game is just another game made by these same devs who have never done anything but steal a bunch of ideas from a bunch of other games and mash them together before abandoning them. This dev has not put out a fully released game, ever. It's constantly blowing my mind how uninformed people are when it comes to anything that is or looks like Pokemon.

Is there an Evolution system in the game? I see a few "Pals" that look like they could evolve, or earlier versions of others. Clarifying this would be helpful.
The only thing about this game is that everyone has got me expecting a pokemon game and not a re-skined Ark
Its does have some bugs on the map, at least for me there is an entire landmass on the side of a mountain that if you step on drops you to the bottom of the map. I do expect this to be fixed soon though.
If I had a PC, i would play the f**k out of it.
