  1. Came to your channel for monster hunter but you also making mmo videos is a very nice bonus. I am enjoying new world a lot. Despite the issues I just find myself wanting to get back into the world so I really hope they improve and support it for a long time.

  2. I've found the combat pretty fun for an MMO, the game just lacks that feeling of epicness and purpose to me. I remember when I first played WOW, the race intro's alone made you feel like you were about to embark on the most epic of adventures and created that feeling of being important and apart of something. That's completely missing for me with New World. There is just no atmosphere.

Also, for a game that is 80% walking, you'd think you'd be able to get down stairs with out falling.

  3. From what I've seen so far, PvP seems quite fun thanks to the action combat, crafting is also very well done. However, PvE seems quite bare bones, with basically every quest a "collect x stuff" or "kill x stuff" and the dungeons seem to have a lot of reskinned enemies. Might need some more time to flesh out the content side of the game but it's got a solid foundation in place at least.

  4. I love Elder Scrolls Online, and you're right, without spending on ESO+ the inventory management sucks for people that like to loot everything. I refuse to play without ESO+ for this very reason…
I'm enjoying my time in New World, and I definitely agree with taking y our time!
    No reason to rush.
It's also kind of funny, Green is overpowered on my server with us Purple having a hard time

  5. I think I'd be all over New World, because I love sandbox, but Black Desert Online absolutely spoiled me with its combat and I'm unable to play any other sandbox mmo anymore.

  6. This game is fine. I just am not crazy about the exploration aspect. I find the world empty. I like being able to run in a random direction and finding an unexpected adventure. This game doesn't do that. I enjoy playing it though. I might hop back on at some point, and I'm hoping they add a lot of good things in the future

  7. I think it's pretty pointless to bring in launch numbers, especially a week after said launch date, to prove that a game is well-received or has wide-appeal. It's simply too soon to tell if NW is going to hold on to even a portion of those numbers and as history tells us, it never happens. We'll have to see how things are in a couple months to determine if it's stabilized into a sustainable range and then make a more accurate assessment.

I haven't played the game and I don't see myself playing it in the future. I wasn't impressed by what I've read or seen in the alpha and beta and that hasn't changed after release. That isn't going to make me irrationally hate something I don't care for and I hope the game does well for the people that like it.
