At the end of the day, Lost Ark is an absolutely incredible MMORPG. Smilegate have chosen to do something completely different to what is traditional in our MMOs with this – something that was contrastingly different from the norm.
And it has worked out for them, being one of Korea’s largest MMOs and becoming the #2 largest game to have ever launched onto Steam.

40 hours in with my deathblade and i love it. I only wish they fix the micro stutter when loading new players. Closing the area chat help a bit but not entirely.

66.2 hours in and yes I made a sorcerres.
Played it for two months. I see 0 reasons to play it any longer, unless you just want to unlock the collections and all that optional solo fluff.

I don't want to be that person, but honestly I don't see much future for this game, after playing for 16 hours I can confidently declare that it suffers pretty much all the problems your usual korean mobile arpg suffers, on top of amazon… being amazon, the over-censoring and mediocre support aside, I've already seen them banning people for pretty stupid reasons like the name "hellsgate or bezos" and the game barely even has a week. I predict that it's population will probably decline to new world levels within a year and we will be looking to what could this game have been with another publisher.
The real question is what's gonna happen to AGS after this, with 2 mmorpgs in a row "failing"

watched 3 videos about lost ark from you straight and that music in the background is really anoying
Played for 2 days from the hype (probably amazon marketing) and I still don't get it. The female characters walk in a super unnatural way. The actions and animations are so unpolished. It storyline is linear and dull. If you think the story is good, you haven't tried WoW, you like the Korean grindy and p2w, just play BDO. If you like the 2.5D feel, go for PoE or D2R. Overall, I'm just amazed that it's 2022 and this game has nothing more to offer than games released 10 years ago.
The movement in this game is horrible
I LOVE all the collectables. Decided I am not going to leave a zone until I get all the collectables and 100% each zone. Its a bit of a grind, but so much fun, love the sense of exploration, hidden secrets, and items to find and collect.
Wasn't this game nerfed quite a bit in the NA ver?
Ive spent 100 hours already the game is too good. The story is just chef kiss you get immersed. The issue is the repetitive quest mechanics. I wish theyd mix it up. However the end game content is too good! And imo, its barely pay to win. It id forgiving if you miss a few days of playing and helps you catch up. And encourages alts and not penalize you

The self depreciation in this video is next level. That aside, Lost Ark is one of my favorite games now, and probably my favorite isometric ARPG now (Sorry Diablo series)

I can't stand the Asian art-style that all these Korean MMOs tend to have. I never cared for the anime thing at all. I just can't relate to any of the characters in the games when they all have faces that make them look like little children. And the females always have huge bouncing t i ts, and are overly sexualized with ridiculous clothing that make no sense to wear in battle.
8:46 What are you talking about, people are heavily divided on what is P2W and what isn't? If you can buy actual gear with stats, that increase the power of your character, or abilities that increase your power in combat, then it is P2W. If you can only buy cosmetic items and Quality of Life improvements, then it's not P2W. It just has a cash shop is all. Two good examples of microtransactions done right, in my opinion, are Path of Exile, and Star Wars: The Old Republic.
I've sepent about 3 days to level to 50 lvl in my opinion its mostly single player and it's very similar to Diablo 3 gameplay u got a lot of trash around u and u just swinging weapons around 6,5/10

Lost Akr is definitely worth to play…. GREAT game. The only negative thing is and prob will be – HUGE queue.
I play it and kill everything because is actually really fun to kill things, unlike games like WoW I actually enjoy the combat 100%.
Lost ark is fun but it's not an MMO, you can only have 50 people in one area, less people than a FPS game like call of duty or battlefield and neither of those are MMO's.

What shirt goes with what pair of pants can never be a nightmare in a guy's mind. To us it all matches and looks good. We have other more important things to worry about like farming that next armor upgrade.
