I don't think it's right to compare Lackadaisy to Helluva Boss. The only thing in common is that they both appeal to furries. Otherwise, they each have their own unique characters, different art styles, different kinds of music, and different kinds of humor.
The animation is so polished, the occasional under-drawings are definitely a style choice to harken back to old-school hand drawn works

I think you need to watch some stuff about The Prohibition. Alcohol in the USA was illegal from 1920-1933. They're all criminals. The Lackadaisy is a "Speakeasy" or illegal bar located in a cave below the cover business called the Little Daisy Cafe. Prohibition had Tommy guns, gang warfare, Al Capone, etc.
Lackadaisy is more child and family friendly than Helluva Boss so its hard to compare them

I watch Lackadaisy, it was good. However, it's not better than Helluva Boss..
Helluva Boss is the best masterpiece since Vivienne "Viziepop" Medrano created the pilot of Helluva Boss and then it was add on YouTube in November 2019.
Later, the series of Helluva adult cartoon web series was out on YouTube in October 31, 2020, I watch it, I love it.
I don't think the challenge of the competition is really 🚫 worth it.

For me helluva boss is still the best , especially when you look a little closer in every episode there is always the funny things behind😂

Id say it looks more interesting than helluva boss. The helluva boss plot is very boring sometimes
I've been following the comics for a loooong time( I read the comics back in 8th grade and now I'm a college student lol) but Lackadaisy wins in the artstyle. I love the part when the creator made human and dog versions of each characters.
However storywise? I can't judge which one is better since helluva boss is still damn new unlike lackadaisy who started off years ago. That's just my take.

Yeah, technically, all the characters seen so far are criminals. Prohibition outlawed alcohol, which gave rise to speak easy's, hidden bars which profited crime, which gave rise to the mafia here in the US.

So basically the letter in the box is an obituary for a guy the got hit by a circus truck while crossing a bridge hard enough to launch him into the Mississippi River and was found dead with his body stuck in the paddle wheel on a steamboat. But the person who wrote it circled words to spell out a return address and addressing the “package” to the “widow” at an address in their town. Cool!

I don't think there's any need to compare. They deliver something totally different. Helluva Boss is a chaotic comedy with a focus on relationships, while Lackadaisy is a historical tale with some comedy. It definitely doesn't get nearly as vulgar as Helluva Boss, and the atmosphere is overall darker and feels more on the drama side. Most of the action in the comics is actually done with a pretty serious tone.
So whichever one you think is better just depends on what kind of story you want.
I like Helluva Boss and Lackadaisy, but Lackadaisy appeals to me more for some reason (probably because I can watch it with my parents). They both are good in their own ways in my opinion
You should go back and watch the end credits to the end after the post credits scene
