  1. Yeah, maybe we're getting a properly full chapter this time. Looking back on Ch.6, the biggest issue I have with NGS story is how they just don't seem to put enough energy toward really SELLING what's happening. Like they have a plan for a scene, but tend to execute it in such a basic way.

    I like the time limit, because the indefinite thing in combat sectors sounds nice on paper, but having no hard terminus can cause some issues with both room slots never opening up (like having ONE full Gorge room and no one in the others), and just getting fatigued. I really want to see how more new areas formatted like Nameless City could look, especially if they can add more stuff to search for and/or different gimmicks to them.

    Also yeah, the Action System didn't turn up, so July might get that content along with Line Strike, Anniversary and also the next Roadmap.

    They DO need to up the base grind limit on newer weapons.

  2. I'd like to come back but then I remember just how painful it will be to catch up, grinding or otherwise. Game really needs to fix their drop rates/shop inflation.

With the new action system, I'd guess it either ran into a technical issue and got delayed, or else got reprioritized in favor of something else (like augment transfer, which also seems like it was having technical issues by how they talk about it) and got delayed. Probably why the devs themselves said they were leery of showing it off when it was first revealed: Projects like that tend to get delayed, altered from their prototypes, or even outright scrapped all the time.

  4. The time limit is a good idea. It'll keep rooms cycling, and presumably, because of matchmaking it'll keep rooms from dying too. Prevents AFKing too. It'll probably kick you out everytime you run out of time.

  5. Part of me wishes that nameless city wasnt an exploration but rather a map expansion. But of course nah. Its Tokyo from pso2 base all over again 😂😂 run through rings, stop at yellow markers fight enemies, rinse repeat until you hit point goal or time runs out the end lol.

  6. Nameless City gives me PSO2 Vegas map and Japan, WHICH I LOVED. This may get me to come back to the same monotonous game loop for a bit… good gosh i pray they change the game loop lol

  7. We all need more game content which promotes co-op. Urgent Quests and Dark Falls are not enough. What about dungeons or give us tougher open-world bosses. It is sad to see so few players roaming outside the city but so many players gathering in the cities not assisting low level players levelling up. Give these max-level characters something worth participating for when they assist lowbies. It’d be a win-win solution for both low and max level players.
