  1. No, because the Definitive Edition is console exclusive, and Sony and Microsoft won't give refunds if you actually played the game.

I mean, I guess you could refund the PC version, but the only reason to play the PC version is for mods, and if you're just gonna refund it, then there's no point.

  2. You could speedrun the Bloody Palace for DMC5. I know that doesn't really work, but hear me out. You can pick any character you want, including supers. And you have to have gotten over 2 and a half hours by the time you finish. This sounds poorly thought out, so feel free to adjust it as you wish.

  3. Wait, if your dog is called Dio, does he attack any human called Danny on sight? Has he ever suddenly vanished from sight, only to appear eating dog treats?

  4. Is it bad if I say that DmC: Devil May Cry was the first game that introduced me to the series? Yeah it sucks storywise, the characters (especially Dante in the beginning) are lame, but the gameplay, level design and soundtrack, ESPECIALLY THE SOUNDTRACK, are one of the most amazing aspects of this game.
In my personal opinion, that's what compensates the money wasted on this game (got it on sale btw).
Really thrilled to buy and play all of the DmC games, so when I reach DmC 5, I will already have some experience with its predecessors.

  5. doesn't DmC have a definitive version on consoles that corrects some of the dumb controls (just realized that you're going by steam rules). Alternatively though I'm sure there are PC mods that fix those issues since we never got the definitive edition.

  6. I love the world and the characters, that dystopian post-grunge style. It has great mechanics and incredible visuals.

I am sure that if it were called differently and I would give each character different names, people would not have hated it as much as at the time. If that had been the case, we would be talking about the beginning of a franchise and not the biggest failure of the series.
