  1. Gladly skipped goty Sekiro cause I’m not willing to gamble $30 on it’s difficulty. One can level farm plus Summons in Souls / Elden so that’s a more worthy purchase for me. Sekiro has none of that

  2. I hear you. And respect your opinion. I still can’t imagine this game, even with several additional features that could potentially make for a slightly easier time, will be any different than my previous experiences with the series.

Plain and simple, I don’t enjoy dying repeatedly. Losing progress, however slight. Hitting brick walls of boss encounters. Etc. It’s a personal preference, but I play video games for the power fantasy — not for the opposite.

I just don’t see why adding more accessibility for a casual audience would hurt anyone. An easier setting, or an ability to lower boss difficulty is all it would take. Literally all it would take for me to be able to enjoy all the hard work and excellent worlds From Soft has created.

I’m bummed because Elden Ring looks like my kind of game in every way EXCEPT for the difficulty. And with limited time and a huge backlog, it’s not the kind of slog I want to subject myself to.

  3. Young gamers are and have been ruining gaming. They complain about everything possible. The generation of entitlement.

Stop gaming and just go jerk off to your mom's old Sears catalogs. Idiots. Fuck off and let real gamers enjoy a great game. I don't care that you find it too hard or it triggers your mental illness. You stupid fucks.

  4. As a relatively new father I have about an hour to myself to play anything per day. The idea of spending that free time beating my head against a wall is just not on the cards for now. Maybe in five years.

  5. You did nothing to convince me that this game isn't as frustrating as the other Soul-like games. Only that you didn't play the others. If fact, you convinced me it IS as hard, you just didn't play the others.

  6. A game that makes you wonder aimlessly , hoping to find something to do. No path of progress and that is so frustratingly hard, You will be doing more of a job then enjoying yourself…Yeah BIG pass for me

  7. The only answer to the question In the title is No. if this guy is saying any different he’s lying. This is still a fromsoft game. If you don’t like Fromsoft’s game style don’t start now. You will quit before leaving the first zone.

  8. I just uninstalled this game from my pc. why ? first this game requires 12gb ram. although i have an 8gb ram but with gtx 1650 , it ran fine with custom settings. although i could play it on high settings as well but still i could see that something is not right. besides, despite keyboard, game was showing tips in console controller. I could not know how to change that in settings. second, i never played any dark souls or any other this kind of game. i expected that it is tough but that was too tough. i could not beat the first boss ( knight with golden armor) . he killed me in just one hit. WTF. time spend in healing was stupid. He could hit me while i was drinking that healing potion. i tried many times but if you die in just two hits, you do not want to play it. I play games for fun, not for challenges that frustrates us ( because we do it in everyday real life).

  9. Sorry, but any game where the gameplay revolves around constantly dying and replaying sections is my idea of gaming hell and this is why I would never touch a From Software game with a 10 foot barge pole.

  10. The difficulty being too much for most people is only part of the problem. The combat feels like I am playing a game that is a few generations old. Very clunky. I made it to level 33 and still get my ass kicked by some of the first enemies you encounter. It is a very punishing experience and probably takes more time to master than most busy adults have to play. For that reason I would say unless you have a lot of time to commit I would skip this type of game.

  11. Modern day gaming sheep npcs love anything u throw at em as long as IGN or any major game news outlet gives it a 10/10 u better not say anything different or you “suck at the game” or “new to the game” how can u possibly even defend this when it’ll barely perform good on my ps5 or xsx. This game stands out difficulty wise but to me it doesn’t bring anything new from any other souls games and it can get tedious and boring quickly. This is dark souls 3.3 open world edition. The game doesn’t suck but “best game” “goty” u just overrated it, I’d say it’s an 7.5-8/10 because of the emptiness and the reviewers knew this had performance issues and they still gave it a 10/10 without a care. I know I’ll be blindly attacked from my opinion but idc every new AAA game just gets 10/10 when they clearly don’t deserve it. (IMO) once again for the fanboys
