  1. We’re thinking about doing a split stay of 6 days or so at Disney and 3 or so at another hotel. The lack of benefits for value resorts and lack of dining plan are factoring into our decision big time.

  2. "Epcot is not at her best right now" Yeah, her best days are behind her. Disney is in the process of taking a park that used to be about combining education and entertainment, stripping it of its identity and turning it into another Magic Kingdom

  3. An important note about MagicBands that I really valued knowing on my trip is that you can upload your park ticket to your apple wallet and scan it the same way you do with Apple Pay. I have an Apple Watch that I wear all the time anyway so I just used that to scan into lightning lane or whatever else. functioned just like a MagicBand with a couple button clicks added!

  4. One thing she did not mention is the Speedway gas station across the street from Disney Springs. I went over there and got huge bottles of water 2 for $3. That definitely beats the $5 or $6 for a 16 oz bottle at Springs or anywhere else on property

  5. For the AirBnB reviews, know that a lot of times, the "negative" ones have been removed. We paid for one that advertises 6 minutes from Magic Kingdom and our review was removed!! I informed the host that I had a service dog for my respiratory condition and asked for only WATER to be used to wipe down the condo due to my medical condition. Well, the host knew that she couldn't deny my service dog so instead she used straight up bleach to the point that it smelled like an indoor public pool in the condo. I went into respiratory distress before I could even walk through the doorway.

The host said that it was impossible to be allergic to bleach and she'd never had anyone complain about her place being "too clean" before. I had to find somewhere else to stay for the week (using my limited spending cash I had on me since this was an expense I hadn't planned on). The three women who stayed behind had headaches every day due to the lingering bleach due to its strength that she used. AND killed THREE roaches.

Our review was removed from the site. So be careful with AirBnB.

  7. Like imagine the revenue disneh could get bringing back Osborne – chapek should be paying THEM to come back! Granted the whole amazing point of it was on the backlot houses and cities and everything that made HS amazing and …: Hollywood studios-y 😢

  8. I think Disneyland parks are made for the elite who will be exempt from the globalist eugenics agenda. They are going to need a place to relax and not think about what has just happened to billions of people.

  9. But like… I don’t know exactly how people didn’t expect HEA to come back after the 50th though. I remember reading specifically that enchantment was going to be a limited time show for the celebration so technically leaving the door open for HEA or another new show to appear post anniversary.

  10. Genie + works so well. I was in Disney last week and I was able to ride every ride on genie + at Hollywood, Animal and epcot. I went 2 times at Magic kingdom (nov 1st and nov 5th) and each time with the help of genie + we were able to ride all rides at magic both times. You can stack these up also

  11. Used to love Disney World, went the first year it opened when I was only 8 years old and many many times over the years BUT in the last 10 years or so it has become one big overcrowded money making ripoff. I will not go anymore…too crowded, too expensive, too woke…

  12. I am going to wait a while until things calm down and when I said calm down, I mean not having deal with Covid for one or Chapek's greed for two. Besides I'd prefer to wait until the park has some improvements all things aside.

  13. I have been watching DFB for a while now. I have not been to disney world in many years but was thinking I will hit it in a few years when my granddaughter is about 6ish. The thing is though, after watching, it really doesn't look very fun at all. The reservation game for the parks and restaurants, the genie plus thing and the costs makes me want to choose UNiversal

  14. We rode 9 rides + guardians (virtual queue) in one day at Epcot thanks to genie+! I know it gets a lot of hate but I like it 💁🏻‍♀️ and we only go to the park 2/3 times a year so we don’t mind spending the money!

  15. As a former DVC member for over 20 years, I can say with some authority – Disney sucks now. It is a shell of its former self. Stop wasting your money and time on a company that clearly hates its formerly loyal customers. The Disney experience is no longer affordable or a value.
