No, Derek Carr is just another Kirk Cousins. He's good enough we're not going to be drafting top 10, but he's not good enough to win playoff games. Okay, maybe he could beat whoever comes out of the AFC South. But that's about it.

There are a lot of variables that factor into this he has incredible arm talent, has to be willing to work on his accuracy and decision making Adam's ability to get separation will help clean up some of it, defense will have to make stops and force turnovers, the decision making is on him and McDaniels

The necessary upgrade for the Raiders now is that O-line. So many times Leatherwood, for example, ruined great plays — called back for holding constantly. An improved O-line should help Carr a lot.

The oline will be above avg this year as long as we fill RT. Miller Good James Leatherwood as the starters and I think they are going to take a RT at 86 and Parker Eluminor and the draft pick will battle for the starting job I want Falalle out of Minnesota I think he'll start right away and Parker Eluminor and Simpson will be the backups.

LVR is the 3rd best team in the division. Carr is NOT a top 10 qb… hes 4th in his division lol. he’s just Kirk cousins with eyeliner. He puts up empty numbers and why does everyone think McDaniels is gonna be good? He destroyed a franchise his first go, it’s not going to be much better here. I commend the man for his character but the overall talent isn’t there… the bottom line is they gave him this contract with a 2 yr TEAM OPTION, in my opinion it’s more likely than not the LVR will be looking for a new qb and hc in 2-3 yrs

Im proud of this team .. we’ve been patient a long time .. I like Derek Carr he is a leader and you can tell the guys like him and if they can build a better defense I think we can def be legit but honestly right now there no more than a 2nd round playoff team which is good but not great and won’t be good enough it’s time to really step up and win some postseason games

I've been preaching this same narrative to Carr haters. If it wasn't for Carr this team wouldn't even be relevant. Carr is a born leader and this team responds to him. Watch what he does this season then pass your judgement.
