Can you sweep/javelin throw/kick repeat?
I had problems using CDG because if you hit sweep in max range sometimes CDG misses.
The conclusion i got from this video is that sweep is not a CC skill, its basicaly flashy way of dealing 200% weapon damage that can benefit partialy from some passives like the one that gives 25% more dmg against knockdown enemies.
I wonder if you can always confirm 2 hits from perforate after a sweep…

there is a short and long heavy attack. the short heavy attack will hit for 130% damage instead of the 125% from CDG and is quick enough to hit before your foe dodge.
The only things that makes me want to take CDG is to take the passive Strong Conditioning in the next row, since I dont use Javelin I need either CDG or Defensive Stance to unlock Strong Conditioning which I find pretty nice to have.
I personally use sweep to garuntee landing some perforate hits for the burst damage and rend, allowing me to keep dodging a striking for increased damage for 10seconds after a sweep
