unless u plan on building another alton towers for plus size people only, then nah dont go on the rides if the restraints dont even work for you guys lol
I don’t see why there is so much hate here. I used to be 4 stone heavier than I am now and started my diet / exercise regime about 2 years ago. During the early stages, my friend had a birthday outing to Alton Towers and even though I had lost about 1/2 stone by then, I was terrified I wouldn’t fit on the rides. I would have LOVED to find a video like this; it would have spared me so much stress, anxiety and fear of embarrassment. I knew I was overweight and I was working towards fixing it, but was invited there in the meantime so what is so wrong with this lady providing information to help others in a similar situation who may also be on their own weight loss journey? ❤
Rollercoasters are based on a safety first principal, therefore you cannot accommodate all sizes if you want to go on the ride lose some weight and stop complaining about it as it’s for your own safety
Just coming back from Drayton Manor where I saw someone unable to ride Loki and another person unable to ride Air Race. The ride staff said they were the two most unforgiving rides in the park! Hate to see people embarrassed and upset so just posting this to give anyone who might need it the heads up.
When I went on oblivion with my brother and father a couple years ago, a plus size person attempted to get in but failed so he asked an employee if he could just leave the clip undone and the staff worker obviously said no
But the funny thing is when she said no, she aggressively gestured her hands going round in a circle saying “no sir you’d FaLl OuT” funniest thing that happened to me that day 😂😂
Wait no i don’t. You can lose the weight. It’s totally controllable. Being to tall or to short isn’t. But knowing when to watch what you eat and do slight exercise is key. Come on American don’t be like this
Do you mean fat? Just making up words like plus size to make yourself feel better is sad. If you were to get to a doctor he would probably recommend losing a few pounds
so non of them actually fit as someone who knows a lot about roller coasters i can tell you that having the seatbelts reach is not considered enough i cant tell you exactly when exactly its considered locked but i cant gurantee you thats not it
we were on nemesis, and we gave up our seats so a plus sized person could see if they were comfortable. win tho as we got a free fast pass and went on it twice in around 5-10 minutes.
The brakes on Oblivion finna malfunction ☠️
Caseoh size no wonder she's not allowed on

Seat belts don't say anything, most restraints have sensors in them which have to close to a certain point.
The restraints are made to fit the avarage person so they dont fall out.
Is your body theme park friendly you mean
Just lose weight
BRO BARELY FITS IN THE FIRST ONE XD

Hi!!!! There’s a cool place that’s plus size friendly!
The gym so you can fit in the coaster restraints 😲
Bro i can't lie to you, all you need to do is loose some weight

Wicker something one girl you would fall out
Comments are disgraceful. I've had bad experiences with my partner at thorpe, but Merlin could always improve in this area.
Thanks for the tips! Great stuff to learn before booking a trip.
Should be asking yourself “are you theme park ride friendly” these rides have limitations for safety measures , not a hard concept to fathom
She's gonna break the ride😂
I just had a question, if a restraint just barely fits do you still go on? I’d be afraid to fall out. (By the way ignore the haters!!)
U mean fat
Moral of the story: LOSE WEIGHT
Just loose weight…duh
Yes if u want to die

Then loose weight
Superman: Ride of Steel. Six Flags New England.
I’ll feel bad….

Alton tower is def plus size safe just not giant sized
You are not plus size… You are obese and at risk of not being restrained properly. So don't do something dangerous to yourself and other riders.
Its funny like in 2024 unhealthy lifestile is called “plus size”…

Wow these comments are vile. Let’s stop giving patronising condescending advice to strangers on the internet who are just living their life, ok?

Reminder to never let myself get to this state
Just say fat.
Walking between all the rides you're not able to go on, will help.
If u want to go on them just loose wait
Nobody should cater to people who are unhealthy and can do things to change their circumstances.
No rides were hurt during filming
A simple solution is to eat less.
There's no other excuse. If you over eat and don't burn it off then it's your fault if you cant ride the rides
Why are there so many fat people?
Sorry this video made it to the wrong people; I appreciate this type of video as someone who has struggled to fit on rides before ❤
Hmm that’s a tough one.
Maybe trying to lose weight would help!
European plus sized compared to US plus size is actually crazy
Plus size? You mean fat? Overweight? Obese? Unhealthy? Physically unwell?
