Mars is the first movement of The Planets by Gustav Holst. A rich and powerful set of works based off the astrological significance of the planets in the solar system. Mars, being the red planet, represents war through its rage, wrath, and glory. In this video, I will be exploring this score, hopefully so that we can both learn something!
