It’s been a year since the zombie outbreak and Moon Knight has almost finished helping the last survivors. When suddenly portals open up and Hounds of Hell pop out, charging directly at him. Just as Khonshu tells Marc that something is off, zombie Iron Man shows up with Anubis. Marc is shocked that Tony Stark has become the Avatar of Anubis.

Anubis, viewing the virus as a gift, is determined to keep Moon Knight and Khonshu from interfering with his reign. A fierce battle erupts between Moon Knight and Iron Man. However, when Marc gets the better of Tony, he flies off to make an innocent group of people pay for Marc’s actions. Moon Knight is badly wounded from the fight, he can now feel the virus spreading through his body, making it hard to think clearly. Khonshu advises Marc to trust in his guidance, emphasizing that faith doesn’t require rationality.

Moon Knight, knowing he’s going to die, leaps off the roof and crashes down directly on top of Iron Man. Stark is confused, saying that they are on the same team now. But Anubis says they aren’t and declares this battle to be lost. He then leaves Iron Man to face Moon Knight’s wrath. Afterwards, Khonshu suggests that Marc must be hungry and offers him some former allies to consume. Moon Knight has now fully transformed into a zombie and is under Khonshu’s complete control, ready to be rebuilt in his image.
