Carter is soft. He gets on my nerves even to this day.
7:56 Even in 1979 dangerous identity politics were being played. Sinister game play by the Ayotollah. In one comment he just adjudicated that black Americans and American women were not truly American citizens and should not be held accountable or to the same standards as other Americans. And here we are today in 2024 with this pernicious legacy of identity politics playing out.
Emang sialan ya
A great man for sure
Western media has not changed since while the world has evolved massively
The Shah, installed by the CIA, involving General Schwarzkoff's father.
Psyop.
Why would any journalist agree to these terms for the interview?
Humble Man ♥️
Impressive. Thank you for letting me see this after almost 5 decades. 🙏
America's policies are same irrespective of its president.
lol at least with shah they asked any questions they wanted
Ayatollah Khomeini was such a genuine and pious leader – may Allah grant him janat-al firdous. Ameen. Whatever he said is still correct today.
Ayatollh Khomeini saved Iran from poverty, illiteracy and American colonialism
they wanted a leader- here is the leader

If the Shah and Saddat had stayed in power, the Middle East would have been far better off.

No comments, this is absolutely a mockery of a noble man
He is more sane man than me. I don’t like the insults (lunatic). Seems childish and Rude.
the freedom of women and black people was given
He had a Time Machine and took his people back to the Stone Age.
The Iranian people were massively deceived by Khomeini. the beginning of the dark era for iran and not because of this guys "islam" as he is using Islam to hide his thuggery and gangster mentality and hatred towards the arabs for no reason.. Khomeini was the "chosen guy" by carter who will start wars with Saddam and threaten arab countries.
I don’t understand the comments saying this journalist made Khomenei look bad. On the contrary, Khomenei made himself look bad.
Allah Akbar❤
Shah has done alot of great work with Iran. He’s no criminal, nor a bad man, the shah was a great man.
The Ayatollah looks very similar to Sean Connery
Würde dir so passen, Khamenei, wenn Jerusalem muslimisch würde! Der Islam hat dort nichts zu suchen! Es ist eine jüdisch- christliche Stadt !

It’s painful to listen to this. SHAH has done a lot of great work with Iran. He’s no criminal, nor a bad man, the SHAH was a great man.
The 1979 revolution proved to be a regrettable decision, as it resulted in the loss of a thriving economy, social liberties, and progress towards a positive future. Instead of resorting to overthrowing the regime, dissatisfied individuals could have pursued avenues for change within the existing system. Under the leadership of Alahazrat Mohamad Reza Shah Pahlavi, Iran experienced significant development and prosperity, but unfortunately, his departure led to the downfall of our nation, the erosion of our freedoms, and numerous other setbacks.
not a boothlicker unlike the shaah.
