Really looking forward to the increased car count. I am not going to get too exited about rain yet, but 80+ cars on the Nordschleife would be a good start to a very promising future of the sim.
Splitting road to open wheelers and tin top would be so nice. I just got D class through MX-5 – the TC series is probably okay for me to hop into.
F4? Not a chance! I can barely drive the Vee and FF1600
whole lot of things said, hopefully they follow though in a decent time frame
Wow new short tracks announced👏👏
I just want better broadcast camera angles for all the pro races, so zoomed in you cant see the racing.
Great coverage
Slinger is gonna be awesome!
Wonder when Anderson is getting added, I know the first time they went to scan Winchester they couldn’t and went to Anderson instead
I just wish they would add a short track from Northern California like placerville speedway or an asphalt track around me but one can hope and pray right lol
Kern with the huge value package. Really excited about that. Can we get a substantial update for the sprint and silver crown with Winchester? 🤞
New upgrades are looking interesting. Rain looks nice, but I'm not sure I am going to like it. I don't race much on road circuits, but when I do I prefer to stick to the road as much as possible. Some drivers have a hard enough time with dry asphalt. I can't imagine the wreck fest that will be in a rain race.
I not much on fishing in the rain let alone race in it lol. Thanks nick. I will just keep holding my breath for a fault model when applying XXXXXX’s
This is all good to hear. Looking forward to the future
When is the update ?
I ran at Slinger IRL and I’ve been to Winchester as a fan. Very excited for those two. Thanks for the info!
Gonna have to sit down for this vid! Thanks Nick, I heard it here first🙏🏼
Wonder what the new dirt car will be?
Awesome news, just praying on the day subscription based gameplay ends.
Hope rain won’t hurt performance
Winchester is going to be so much fun, can’t wait
This is a great dev diary. I had already read it but good to hear your thoughts Nick. The trees as you mention really suck compared to all the other graphical updates. I am not too fussed about the rain coming tbh. Sure it looks great from the screenshots they show here but like you I will be at the back and in the fence (considering I am always at or near the back anyway) so I don't need something that is going to make me slower and the cars more difficult to drive. What I am excited about is that they are working on a career mode. I am guessing it will be something along the lines of starting off in Formula Vee or Mazda MX-5 and then building up and choosing your own path whether to do Production car racing, Stock Car racing or open wheel. Who knows, it might see the inclusion of Go-Karting as that is the normal first step in any young driver's racing career.
I wish they had something IndyCar related!! Bummed!
I have a question, why do you think the old Zandvoort is better? Not saying you’re wrong lol I don’t really have an opinion on it but that last corner on the new version is awesome.
I think it’d be great if they split out road license into tintop and open wheel.
Whilst irating isn’t everything, I pretty much always finish ahead of my ranking in tin top and then below my ranking in formula. Except formula ford for some reason.
Slinger gonna be so rad I can’t wait.
