  1. Really looking forward to the increased car count. I am not going to get too exited about rain yet, but 80+ cars on the Nordschleife would be a good start to a very promising future of the sim.

  2. Splitting road to open wheelers and tin top would be so nice. I just got D class through MX-5 – the TC series is probably okay for me to hop into.

F4? Not a chance! I can barely drive the Vee and FF1600

  3. New upgrades are looking interesting. Rain looks nice, but I'm not sure I am going to like it. I don't race much on road circuits, but when I do I prefer to stick to the road as much as possible. Some drivers have a hard enough time with dry asphalt. I can't imagine the wreck fest that will be in a rain race.

  4. This is a great dev diary. I had already read it but good to hear your thoughts Nick. The trees as you mention really suck compared to all the other graphical updates. I am not too fussed about the rain coming tbh. Sure it looks great from the screenshots they show here but like you I will be at the back and in the fence (considering I am always at or near the back anyway) so I don't need something that is going to make me slower and the cars more difficult to drive. What I am excited about is that they are working on a career mode. I am guessing it will be something along the lines of starting off in Formula Vee or Mazda MX-5 and then building up and choosing your own path whether to do Production car racing, Stock Car racing or open wheel. Who knows, it might see the inclusion of Go-Karting as that is the normal first step in any young driver's racing career.

  5. I have a question, why do you think the old Zandvoort is better? Not saying you’re wrong lol I don’t really have an opinion on it but that last corner on the new version is awesome.

  6. I think it’d be great if they split out road license into tintop and open wheel.

Whilst irating isn’t everything, I pretty much always finish ahead of my ranking in tin top and then below my ranking in formula. Except formula ford for some reason.
