iOS 17 Beta 2 is out along with iPadOS 17 Beta 2, MacOS Sonoma Beta 2, watchOS 10 Beta 2, tvOS 17 Beta 2 and HomePodOS 17 Beta 2. Apple also released iOS 16.5.1, iPadOS 16.5.1 and others.

Anyone knows which devices support this new namedrop feature?
Battery life hasn't been an issue for me on beta 1 or 2. I'm still at 100 maximum capacity. It has gave me a "Phone will resume charging when temp returns to normal" but nothing incredibly horrible.
Another major update in ios 17 in Beta 2 is in call history. Earlier in ios 16 we could see only history of 4-5 days depending upon the call list and to see further we had to delete our current call logs.
But in ios 17 we can go on scrolling below and it keeps on loading & shows our call logs. Also the spacing between each calls logs are more now! I hope @Zollotech you have noticed this! 😊
Noticed a bug. With the battery indicator. Apple Watch showing as charging all the time.

OK, what have they done, on Dev B1 iPhone 14 Pro, about 5 hours total and 42% battery left, updated to DevB2, and what the… 7 hourstotal and 75% battery left, seriously, anyone seing extrodinary battery performane? great performance, no lag, quick to respond. Amazing

Random reboot
My 13 Pro Max on iOS 17 Beta beta two just randomly rebooted for the first time. Hopefully this isn’t a widespread issue where it’s not issued all but once mention it once. I was at the gym, listening to music on my AirPod Pro2 and my phone system crashed rebooted back to the home screen report as a bug report but just wanted to mention it’s everyone here as well. Hopefully, it’s just a one time issue if you know what I mean.
I don’t want to wait for September 2023 to have an original ios 17.
So I will choose ios 17 public beta

Aaron I tried installing iPad is 17 to my pro 10.5” and in downloads and goes to install. After finishes I log back in but o am still showing 16.6 beta. Wry strange never had that happen have you heard anything about that and yes I did have 17 beta selected !!!⚓️🇺🇸

I have an apple watch
SE 2020 with 90 in battery health, but now on ios 17, the battery drains very quickly so that I have to charge it like 3 times a day. on ios 16 then it lasted 2 days without charging
If found out that if you have a device running on ios17 with crossover enabled, it also works automatically on other connected devices running on ios16!
Aaron, I can’t continue watching these when you’re not activating the Animated Wallpapers correctly..
To activate it, you have to lock the phone, then unlock it. That’s what triggers the animation.
I’ve also noticed some pictures just don’t work correctly, try setting up a whole new fresh image, sometimes they just don’t work, and usually iOS will tell you if it doesn’t work, could be a weird case in your situation. Because they worked from Beta 1 day one for me.
I didn’t have great battery with beta 1 but with beta 2 it’s actually a lot worse. Having to charge twice a day, even before on iOS 16, with my constant heavy use I could get a full day and a half on one charge. I expect that to improve, I’m only participating in the betas to give as much feedback to Apple as possible so the public release is better.

Part of battery life may be the fact that I’m currently using Visible on a dual sim. My area got a lot of damage from storms last Saturday and T-mobile seemed to have a lot of issues for a few days. My area only had Verizon coverage going when t-mobile was out so I got a visible plan.
I have the update and free space but when I try to downloand the beta it says it needs 13,74 gb of free space
There is a lot of free space on my iphone. Any idea?
As usual years and years of garbage update but they can't add an update where icons can be arrange automatically or alphabetically!!!

I watched iApple to fix notifications and it worked. Not for the stock mail app but for other stuff it worked. I just switched all my email accounts to outlook mail app.

Man these changes are just basic as fuck
not sure what went wrong after my update, but after the phone resetted and was doing the install it gave me the verifcation fail prompt. I've reseted the phone numerous times and it still shows the verificaion fail and cant even use my phone 😢
Jesús!!!! I upgraded this damn thing to IOS 17 beta 2 without any issue but I don’t see ANY CHANGES AT ALL!! except that now says 17.0 instead of 16.5.1 what am I doing wrong??!!
