Inveraray Jail and Bell Tower

We visit Inveraray, it’s jail and the bell tower. We didn’t know when we were filming, but the jail has a reputation as one of Scotland’s most haunted locations and a popular location for overnight paranormal investigations and ghost hunts. The bell tower with it’s 176 steps provides an amazing view over Inveraray.

  1. What an thoroughly interesting video. I’ve not commented before as I watch on my Smart TV, but I just wanted to say how much I’ve enjoyed this Scottish Tour with the most beautiful scenery and interesting places you’ve visited. Looking forward to your next tours. Thank you so much xx

  2. I really enjoyed this video. The information throughout the jail explaining how the inmates lived really brought it to life. Well done also for climbing all of those Bell Tower steps. Good exercise and worth it for the view I think. Lovely video, great scenary and of course not forgetting sweet little Poppy who always makes me smile. Thank you both.

  3. Thought-provoking and extremely interesting. Never ceases to amaze me the awful things one human being can invent to inflict pain and misery on another. Thankyou for another brilliant video.

  4. Another great video – the Jail looks a fantastic place to visit all be it the torture devices, wouldn’t fancy those! Some fascinating history and information. The milk for porridge cow had a very intriguing look on its face 😀
    Have a lovely weekend,

  7. Although this video was really quite disturbing to watch, I found I couldn't stop! What an awful, torturous place that once was, and very strange that poppy didn't want to enter some of those rooms. At the same time it was very informative and interesting. Thanks for sharing ❤

  8. Hi Bob, Jenny and Poppy, loved the walk around the jail, it just makes you think about all the horrid things we used to do to each other. But very interesting. The Bell tower was very high Bob, we would definitely of been puffing. Beautiful views from the top. Been to Invarary a few years ago, x Julie and Tony x
