In this 3rd and final part of my brief series looking into why and how Russia could invade Sweden, Sweden gathers its forces to push Russia back into the sea. And on Gotland, resistance is growing.

My only major disagreement is I think the scenario massively over states the institutional competence of the Russian Navy.
This deserves 1000 times the current 41 views, at a minimum. Awesome series
Gods be cursed 😂 I messed up the timeline of events because I forgot I had mentioned when Finnish troops entered Sweden in Part 2 😅 Brainfart!
And these damn weird audio issues 🫣
Great vid and thank you for your work. It does, to me at least, look like naval warfare might get a change in paradigm in the years leading up to this scenario. I take that from the fight in the black sea going on right now with missiles and naval drones proving to be very effective against an on paper superior enemy. To me those capabilities look like something that Sweden needs as they can attack ships without risking Swedish lives. Having a production of naval drones able to reach at least Gotland from the mainland would surely make an occupation of Gotland uncomfortable for anyone. At least that's my thoughts on the matter. Would love to hear your thoughts on the matter if you are willing?
This would make Norrköping famous for next century 😀 Now almost unknown city even among swedes.
Big question I have, would sweden do like russia, ask old S-tanks from museums to help in this battle?
I don't see the Russians fighting to the biter while being sieged. They either retreated or surrendered in Ukraine. There was no Russian last stand.
Thank you for this series.
There are of course several assumption that are under scrutiny after the Fail (or at least partial fail) invasion of Ukraine by Russia. Russia is not that capable to do much at all, even if they manage to rebuild their military within the next 10 to 15 years, and that is a big IF. Having the equipment is not enough to win a war. They don't and most likely will not have the leadership to make such complex move to invade by sea, Sweden or any other countries. On the other hand they could challenge article 5 of NATO by invading Lapland witch has basically no population, and force a dissolution of NATO by asking some small countries like Portugal, Greece, or Ireland to commit themself against Russia for a piece of land that has no value, then attack one country (like the Baltic countries), after the other with much impunity as NATO would be gone.
We live in precarious times.
Finally, I am American, but I don't think it is wise for Europe to rely too much on The US, look at the political mess we are now, and I don't think it will end even without Trump in charge.

Excellent presentation! Thank you Mr Skruffy.
Excellent series👍
Should be made into a TV mini series. Season one ends with Sovjet, sorry I mean Russian occupation of Gotland like in this scenario. Season 2 liberation?
Would be an excellent opportunity to showcase a "what if scenario". Hope is not a strategy…
