  1. I'd like to add my two cents about letting Bruno into the goat habitat. By example you are showing Herc that Bruno is not welcome, because he sees Bruno outside of the fence with the gate closed. It will take time to get the goats and Herc used to the change, when you decide to try it. Good luck fixing the furnace. My husband and I camped in all kinds of weather. Love and prayers to all from NC.

  2. Goodness that was a scary moment. So sweet how they are enjoying each other. lol Bruno is wanting to play with Mama and baby. I have Christmas music channel in my vehicle also and have it on in the house. Love this season. Yes you sound very knowledgeable. So good you have learned how to make repairs. I wondered how much a new one would cost. Wonder if you could put a split unit in the camper??? Oh I hope JR can help you all out in how to add onto the cabin. Have not seen any birds in this video!!! Love Bruno and his finds … lol All the best!

  4. Herc is the best guard dog. He kept the intruder at bay and there was no spilled blood. Good Boy Herc. Having all that extra straw on the ground Shannon, may help with the mud come spring. Glad to here JR has offered his knowledge and help again. What a Blessing he has been. Especially with the Alpha Gal. My friend's daughter still can't eat red meat and it has been way over a year and a half now. Y'all have a Blessed day.

  8. Perfectly handled by all three dogs – yes, also the stray one – and you, Kyle! Hope the owners managed to catch their dog and bring it home – and keep it there, lol. If the mice got into that old straw it might've been the excrements from them, that kept the goats away. Bruno definitely has to learn to be calm around the goats before he can be with them. We don't want another Bandit accident – for those who remember Chad's puppy Bandit and what happened. Though I think Bandit actually bit a goat (Batman, I think) and Smokey only did what she had to do to protect her family – which was the goats.
    It's always awesome when people say "bring your dog". Bruno's going to have lots of fun. My downstairs neighbours are crazy loving dog people and heaven forbit, whenever I'm invited, that I "forget" my dog in my apartment! 😅Unless it's a birthday party with lots of people.

  11. That was an interesting pit bull encounter. Herc was awesome during it. Bruno did his part too a couple days ago with the Amazon delivery issue. What great doggie/mom-and-dad teamwork! Bruno was so cute playing with the goats on the other side of the fence and Herc helping with the straw raking and replacing in the goatie pen. Beautiful guys!

  30. The other dog did the right thing and stopped to offer his butt and kept his tail low over that are of his body. Bruno and Herc were great calmly without dropping the alert getting the intruder dogs details and realised it wasn't a threat. Hopefully they didn't get any diseases from said intruder. It might be one of your neighbours you haven't met yet.

  40. Boil water on the stove it helps keep a small to larger space warm if there's no moisture in the location no heat! I have a 400 Studio Apartment, without heat! .. the boiling water all days keeps it around 70-74F all day !

You mentioned your buddy telling you about Alpha gal… I had never heard of this affliction til you told about it months ago…but when a friend who lives in the mountains of Arkansas got some mysterious symptoms, I recognized them and told him to go see his Dr asap…sure enough, that is what he has! So thank you for sharing that info…he is adjusting to life without mammalian foods- very reluctantly at first, but he is doing way better.
