If I get in first thing, and go into a hardcore server I’ll get wasted. I need ten minutes to warm up flying around a hub and a normal match.
Also the difference in skill level means I can get way more kills, and more XP, in normal.

I always play (and usually get wrecked in) hardcore, but I can relate with not being able to find a good hardcore lobby. I feel like most people use the portals instead of the settings screen, and I always get dumped into a lobby with two people

you are doing the community a service! many times I've got home from work ( in uk) gone to jump on GR and there's maybe 7 matches with no more than 4 players in them. not beneficial to the bounties and sometimes leaves me resorting to going to normal game modes. many people don't know there's a game beyond the hub and most of those who do do not realize you can change your preferences to hardcore mode loading you into hardcore hubs and portals by default. great content as always FN
Also ask them how long they play daily?
I hate shields (I mean it's ok mean while you are learning for the first 10 – 15 levels) but it's even more frustrating go to hard-core and you are the only one there.
It would be great that the game gave the shield to the rookies until they reach certain level and there's no more "hardcore" mode, just normal without shields.

the shields are annoying but if I'm doing bounties which require playing on certain game modes I have to do normal because hardcore either will be empty or there's only like 2-4 players in a room. Then you have the Yard which is where the pro players are in pretty much all day everyday and I get wrecked by those guys. The thing that is fun about Normal is when you get a bunch of whiny kids who start cussing and screaming when you constantly kill them, or whiny teens who don't like the weapon you're using because they think you should only use the Rifle. I seriously had a couple guys last night cussing me out because I was stealth killing them from behind with the knife LOL. I love it when they bitch and moan and then I just target them even worse LOL
I get my rocket spamming on point in normal then move to hardcore. Entertainment wise normal is way more entertaining.
I’ll admit, I use normal lobbies all the time, but I rarely end up with a shield.
I do both, I like the shield kill it's hard and challenging when the player is really good so when I do go hardcore game on

It’s a weird problem that i think feeds into itself. People who would go into Hardcore see there’s only a few pages and might want more options…guessing here. Lol🤔
I feel like most of the players in normal (besides ChillahGorilla) are newer to the game and either don’t know about hardcore or they simply don’t have the patience to play it. It certainly takes time to get used to hardcore and they probably just don’t want to get cooked for a bunch of games before they get used to the skill level there if that makes sense. Great vid!!! 🥳
Im surprised the hitboxes seem to work for you quite well. Despite having a perfectly working network and oculus I just never have good times with hitboxes. One moment I dash away. But turns out the game still thinks I'm holding still. So I get stabbed

Dude, I haven't been able to find many hardcore mode portals. Usually when I try it's empty. Not always.. But usually. It sucks. Depends on the time too. Time to get rid of the normal mode for the portals. Keep the shields for lobby play. 👍🏽
I play both but I’m playing in a chair my right hand also don’t move well so I can re load so it’s hard without a shield as no re load time even with the shield sometimes I can’t re load so have to die so I can carry on playing with just my left hand, being in a chair I can’t turn round so again hardcore is hard

I will say though there’s a max of 3 hardcore pages and I’ve seen up to 36 normal pages. Hardcore gets no love which is cool because hardcore has a regular crew of awesome raiders
I have tried normal and it's not for me, as a grenade main it's not the easiest thing to get a nade sniper let alone 4 in a row

Shields usually aren’t a problem since I can get rid of them with one headshot, but they do get annoying unless I’m able to hit a double headshot
