  1. This is much more engaging than the demo ! I remember an overused plot where the main character killed his wife/gf while drunk driving, and it seems (so far at least) they scrapped that entirely : good choice ! So yes, i'd like to see the rest of the game ^^

  3. I'm going to be the unpopular one and say that I would prefer another game or returning to Callisto Protocol, mainly for one reason Chris voiced during the gameplay: I don't think Jill is worth all this trouble.

Let me explain: in Crimson Snow, we never see Joyce, but we hear her interact with the player and from her dialogue, we get a feel for who she is. She's caring, sweet, a good influence on the character we play, and a little bit playful. Immediately, we know she's gonna get caught up in trouble, but we want to help her because of the good rep she builds in the short time we know her.

Same with Eugene in Choo-choo Charles: he's eccentric, outspoken, and fearless, and when we lose him, we (or maybe just I) feel we've lost someone we would've liked to know more of, and compels us to follow through on his request to find his son.

We know virtually nothing about Jill (or at least, I don't feel that way). She used to have some very minor chemistry with the MC, she's a reporter, and… that's it? She's the main reason for us going in, and… I personally don't care about her. That's on top of the rest feeling very generic and at times, even a little sloppy. The pacing just feels too fast, and we know very little about what's going on. I get that it's meant to be unknowable cosmic horror but we don't have much baseline for the town, the threat beyond, or even who we are (beyond persistent terrible decisions using this Mirror Forge).

Personally, I'm not a fan. But I am a fan of Chris, so if he sticks with it, I will too, and try to enjoy what I can.

  4. I loved the demo for this, so I'm really looking forward to this! Part 2, of course! As insane as everything is, I kind of like that we are completely in the dark as to what's going on. Pretty sure Thomas isn't though, he just conveniently has amnesia. Waiting for part 2…
    Thanks, Chris!

  5. I remember a while back, I don't remember what playthrough you did but you we're apologizing for the poor performance of your graphics card because of the stuttering, have you got that sorted?…bought a new GPU?

  6. The sensitivity is a bit high, I had trouble watching. The spinning and rotating left and right along with the darker areas gave me quite the headache. I still enjoy your playthroughs, some are just very hard on visually impaired individuals.
Thank you for playing so those of us who are unable can still try to enjoy them.

  7. Literally just finished reading Gosts by Irving Finkel today and started watching this, not realising it was going to involve Mesopotamian beliefs. Awesome game, you have spoiled us this festive season.
