Instant Crop Harvest & More tips! (WARNING CHANGING TIME MIGHT BREAK YOUR GAME)

I found a way of making sure your crops grow instantly, I’ve only tested this on PC and it requires you to change the time on your PC.

WARNING: Changing time MIGHT break your game!
How to change time:
1. Right-click the time in the bottom right corner
2. Click Adjust date and time.
3. Set time automatically must be set to “off”
4. Click “Change” under set time and date manually.
(I set my date back a week first, before putting time forward so that I never pushed my PC clock into the future)

DISCLAIMER: If you move the time several days forward, you won’t be able to harvest spices that grow naturally in the valley until that time has passed, there might even be other bugs from this, you have been warned.

  1. If you build a fence around your gardening villager before harvesting, you can then harvest everything then remove the fence. They will then run over and touch the crop plot and all the bonus items will drop at once in one convenient pile that you can collect by running over. Saves having to stop to collect mid harvest and a lot of time 🙂

  2. DO NOT TIME SKIP!! Not only do you risk breaking your game, you also nullify your Star Pass, which will lock you out of claims. There is also the chance of creating unharvestable spices. I farm okra as it seems a little bugged. You only need to water it once. As seen in the video it still sprouts plants when dry if you reload the area by going inside a different area and back or manual saving, go to title screen and reload ( this also resets any frame rate drop from your farm sprouting all at once).

  3. For farming I usually just wait for it to rain (my village has been getting big rainstorms everyday that last about 2-3 hours). Planting seeds during rain, instantly waters them, so you don't need to waste time and energy on watering yourself.
If its sunny I just do other activities like mining and fishing, but the moment it starts raining its farming time!

  4. uhhhh the devs have said that the game was not intended for time travel, that time traveling WILL break your game and it is not a priority to make it tt accessible. I’m guessing they never will. this is coming from an avid AC tter, do NOT time travel for Disney Dreamlight Valley

edit to say: it could be different for pc players but switch players, pls do not time skip unless you’re willing to start over.
