Inside This Couple’s 200-Piece Rick Owens Collection | Devoted | Vogue

Fiona Luo and Michael Smith are devoted to Rick Owens—and to each other. Fiona and Michael first met on Instagram, where Fiona saw Michael wearing head-to-toe Rick. Their relationship grew from there, and so did their shared collection.

  1. Finally! Collectors who actually wear the clothes!!!! It breaks my heart to think of so much beauty and creativity locked in closets. I would just love to run into them when out and about. So cool! But Vogue didn't give the outfits the time I needed to really take them in in the video! Like the "starter kit" he wore. Not even 5 seconds for us to fully see it. Vogue, please spend more time on showing the full outfits.

  2. They look and seem so cool, and like rly meant for each other. I myself and thinking of wearing more designer pieces (thrifted and discounted of course lmao) and this is a great encouragement to do so!

  3. were talking about close to 200K USD … no shade but I hope they have some acorns stashed for there future and not just these material possiesons (i understand they have resell value and even potentially grow in value )

  4. This is sort of sad in a way. They are living in an apartment. Not recalling having ownership or financial freedom. Saving up for months on a barista wage. Probably better to invest your money than spend it on weird clothing.
