Footage from inside a Japan Airlines flight that caught fire after a collision with a smaller coastguard plane at Tokyo’s Haneda Airport has emerged.
All 379 passengers and crew from the Japan Airlines aircraft were evacuated – but the condition of five people on board the other plane is unknown.

The Japanese are so disciplined and organized.
In this challenging situation, flight attendants who safely guided people should be commended and are a source of pride for the Japanese. Additionally, the calm attitude of the passengers has, of course, contributed to avoiding a major panic.
If this happened anywhere other than Japan, half the passengers would be dead. If the it was the US or Uk 3/4 would have died.

Fire Rescue could not put the fire out. Plane burned for 6 hours. Not enough equipment.

Contact cockpit. Rear flight attendants decided to initiate aft evacuation slide on their own, likely saving many lives.
Anyone who flies should pay attention to the behaviour of everybody on this flight. Remaining calm and listening to the flight attendants save everyones life.
The way many people act now on U.S. flights probably half of the passengers would have perished clawing their way out, if the same situation.

Luckily it was a landing and not a start. For the ones coming in. The starting plane ofc had full fuel. But the landing one had almost nothing left.
