  1. story 2: i was bullied in school growing up, and when it was just verbal, i would ignore them, but the bullying continued, it ended only when my bully decided to hit me and start a fight, and i foguht back, so i fully agree with what OP said, it should be kept as a last resort, but you should be willing to fight back if it becomes necesary

  2. Back in the day when my daughter was in elementary school she had a classmate who was allergic to milk. So the administration set aside a room for her to eat lunch instead of banning all milk in the lunchroom. Now she didn't have to eat alone. She was allowed to invite someone from her class to eat lunch with her. My daughter thought it was special to be asked to eat lunch with this classmate. It was a win-win for everyone. 😊

  3. Dad absolutely did the right thing. If someone is threatening your life, you're within your rights to rights to respond with violence. Ever since Zero Tolerance became the claim of the day, schools started punishing victims of bullying more than the bullies.

  4. Uk here, our council is having huge trouble with a car and van hire company. We are a seaside town, the company has parked over a 100 vehicles, al0ng the promenade, cutting off the sea view and taking up masses of parking.

  5. 1st story: I love these stories in which people think that they can just take other people's property
2nd story: food allergies are nothing to joke about. This kid could have killed her son. Does that sound like a joke to you?
The bully's new school should be informed about his behave
    3rd story: Good job OP

  6. Always makes me laugh when Either OP repeats the same statement twice, so he reads it out twice or the edit goes wrong and both takes of a line get used. I don’t know which it is but it’s funny either way

  8. The story about the peanut butter allergy feels fake. The kid is 8 years old and says "I want you to die" Also parents made the kid read WebMD and he understood it at 8. I get kids can understand stuff when they're younger and they can be cruel but it still feels fake

  9. The dad with his peanut allergic son is a good father you should teach your child to walk away when words are used but should always defend yourself when things become physical people who think its bad are dumb and do not know that kids who do not fight back are going to end up being bullied constantly and there will be a big chance it will mess up your child's future.. i was bullied for 12 years (before during and after school from monday to friday) because my mom stopped me from fighting as a whole

  10. I'm 100% against using force to get your way, win in in argument, or similar. But that's not what the story was about – it was about self defense. And that Is justified no doubt.

  11. 2nd story: you should have sue the school anyways, your kid had a visible allergic reaction in his arm for half an hour and no one took him to ER.

I am glad that the bully learned his lesson, and even when what he did was wrong in so many levels he didn't actually intended to trigger the allergy, for a bully kid that is more aware than most. And it must be a huge scare for him for what I got from the story, so I don't think he will bully anyone anymore. What consequences people should have, in my opinion, depends on their mental process, what they think it would happen, what actually happens and what their reaction is, he thought it would be a harmless (physically speaking) prank, not realizing the mental torture it is, then the reaction was physical, he must have panicked and he got literally hit because of what he did, he will never repeat something like this, he got a lesser punishment, but it seems to be enough in this case, because his parents also know what huge harm was done and are actually parenting, I don't think the apologie was forced. I am no bully, but I remember apologizing for something I thought it was a huge mess up (not really a big one, in retrospective it was something minor, like leaving a mess with mud in the kitchen) and that apologie description is a kid that knows he messed up big and is truly remorseful for his actions, someone that would completely change his past attitude if he could.

  12. allergies need to be taken seriously, my mom is allergic to nuts (just peanuts, she can have almonds, walnuts ect which is weird) when we eat ANYWHERE I make sure to check if anything is cooked in vegetable oil and no nut oil or anything like that. Hell, when I make chocolate cake with peanut butter icing and the pans or anything that was in contact with peanut butter, I tell my mom not to touch it for her own safety and I would wash them by hand and get rid of the sponge, again, for safety because I'm paranoid. even my stepdad took it seriously when he met, and married my mom to the point that when he heard my mom yelp after laying down in bed to check what it was and saw a bee and that it had stung her lower back. he took mom to the hospital right away. As for how the bee got there, their room was under a tiny little door to maybe some kind of attic? dunno, but it was too small for anyone to fit in, anyway, a bee came through the gap and fell on mom's side of the bed and stung her lower back when she laid down. sorry for long post, I just take allergies seriously, even when at my job when someone orders something without something I'll ask if it's an allergy or preference, if its an allergy I tell the customer 'okay, give me one second and I'll let the grill/sandwich makers know to wash their hands to prevent any contact with what they were allergic to' and many people have been thankful for it

  14. Story 1, that is not how warrants work. Yes the police did not have the right to enter her premises without one, but it doesnt preclude her from showing proof of her claims. Especially with the threat of towing involved. This is straight up FAFO.

  15. I think with the allergy one. No need to press charges, the bully learned how serious it might be. Leaened about the proper medical response if something similar happened again. They are children and it seems that he wont be doing that again. I think it was handled well.

  16. The school system is severely flawed. They stick up for the bullies and encourage bullies while punishing the victims. It's not a place of learning. It's a place a favoritism that doesn't even teach anybody about life skills and how to be an adult live in the world after school

  18. Some teachers are f-ing dumb. I feel for that kid with the allergies. I got suspended one time for choking on food at the cafeteria and had to have the heimlich done and the teacher said I did it for attention.

  19. Second story, absolutely not the A-hole for teaching your kid to defend himself. Kids can be brutal sometimes. So when your only two options are either to defend yourself or potentially be ended then obviously you defend yourself. The world is getting crazier every day and we should all be prepared to defend ourselves when the time comes. Unfortunately kids can't carry "hunting utensils" so martial arts is the best way to teach them self defense. You did good.

  21. Story 2:
Never sign a Non-disclosure agreement with the school. In fact, go to your kids' school board meetings and demand full disclosure (minus the students' identifies) of any and all serious incidents that occor schools. No brushing things under the rug. Parents need to know what happened, how it was handled, what changes were made to prevent the next incident and what action plan could be made to handle the incident better if it occurs again.

  22. Story 2: They made a segregated table at lunch? It sounds nice for a second but are they forcing allergy kids there? Sounds miserable . But also, you can have a mix of legume and nut allergy so the almond butter may also be an allergy
