I always play healers in MMO. Partially because I love it, partially because many healers tend to be crap or lacking and it annoys me, partially because it's one of the few things I'm good at (I lose oversight in close melee range, need to hang a bit in the back and control the fight). But in this game it's frustrating, I'm still very low lvl (17) so haven't really done groups yet, In other MMO used to throwing heals and buffs on randoms whenever I see them struggle but here the targeted healing system is annoying (or I'm just bad) and if I drop a heal patch they run out of it even when they have 5% health. It's difficult to level up that way, both for my levels or the life staff.
What ur thoughts on bow for sec wep? As with bow u can go full focus as well an go light armor if u want an still do some dmg but don't have to get up in there face? I'm thinking about trying it out myself but want to see what u think as I have never played a healer in any mmo
I use Light's Embrace mostly in PVE as I feel it's very useful as a "oh shit" healing when you get surrounded by mobs. It's instant cast and you are always buffed with Beacon and Sacred Ground. So you'll always heal a lot with Light's Embrace.
I'll try Divine for dungeon content. Not a bit fan of it because of the cast.

I've heard that the light armor isn't impacting the healing at the moment. If that's true medium is the way to go

I feel Divine Embrace is pretty bad. Compared to Light's Embrace, it has longer CD, long cast time instead of instant, costs more mana and heals for less (because targets usually have many buffs, at minimum food, life staff group buff, sacred ground and beacon)
All that in exchange for a mediocre chain heal for low health targets.
Was looking for a guide that shows the level sequencing of life staff skills and I got here to your channel. TBH, I'm expecting another generic, forgettable guide but boy was I in for a treat. And before I know it, I have watched most of your vids.
