Extra tip, leading your shots is more important than ever with the inkjet! The slow shot velocity can actually be a blessing in disguise in some situations if you play it more as a way to read where your opponent is going in response to seeing the jet!
I didn’t know you used Tentatek in 2, I use Naut 79, and I definitely agree with Inkjet having the potential for some really nice plays. I’m hoping we get some more good jet kits in 3.
in my opinion Ultra Stamp is the coolest because it has a higher skill ceiling
I feel called out at a long time Splatling main who never really had much experience with the Inkjet weapons as I felt it gets me splatted more then anything. But with the recent buff that made the special feel much better to use and the sudden burst in popularity the Ballpoint is having right now I'm now giving the special another shot.
And no Gem, there should be no reason why any splatling player would be angry at you for providing such helpful advice. LOL

A point for using/fighting it: Remember that they are NOT locked out of squid form! It's obvious information to most, but it's worth reiterating they can use squid form just like the booster jump to duck and weeve, especially between shots.

I've mained the v ballpoint since I picked up the game and have always had an overly aggressive playstyle (why I played it inkjet one in s2), I have recently picked up opening gambit as my new gear set and have been playing more aggressive for it's duration, then playing normal backline after, my favorite playstyle I've used so far.
as a splatling player, i'm absolutely not mad, i'm just thrilled people are talking about splatlings lol

I think inkjet should have faster shot velocity, maybe 30 – 50% faster. I want to see more weapons with inkjet, personally i think splat dualies with fizzy and inkjet or splattershot with burst bomb and inkjet would work. I think both would be cool and I would probably main them if they were in the game.

Commenting before watching video. I Used to main ballpoint in splatoon 2 but then my only membership ran out and I never got it back but now i have splatoon 3 and i have membership again and i want to play ballpoint so i hope this video helps me.

I’ve been trying to learn Ballpoint and these Inkjet tips have really helped me! I need to get better at my timing still, but when I do have good timing? I either chase someone off or in the best case…get a triple kill! XD
