Lost Highway, What a soundtrack 👌 🎶
Amazing he managed to survive and thrive in Hollywood with grace . Thank god he wrapped up twins peaks , on a high . Best tv series !
"Wild at Heart" – gloriously gratuitous and super cool (David let Nic Cage totally indulge in his Elvis obsession). It also features Willem Dafoe's most disturbing role (which is saying a lot).
Let's not overlook the absolutely wonderful "The Straight Story." Going in blind, no one would guess it was directed by David. It is a ruminative, peaceful and kind tale of forgiveness. Highly recommended.
PS – "Mulholland" is fantastic, too, obviously.
Everything by David Lynch stands out in some way. R.I.P.
It’s clear he didn’t know much about Lynch. He didn’t seem to know much about him. So that got me thinking that this video was purely released to make money. There is no heart here from the host. Not from a fans perspective that is.
He's rocking back inside our hearts
David Lynch always struck me as a very sincere and genuine person that has such brilliant creative mind.
Fridays will never be the same again
Twin Peaks is Peak Lynch
It's sad he couldn't see Dune Massiah.
RIP 🙏🏽
I cried.
Blue velvet ,wild at heart, the elephant man….god, amazing movies, damn why did he have to die now
I can still remember watching Twin Peaks when it first aired and the fever that ensued.
A truly unique individual who will be missed both creatively and personally.
Twin Peaks
Twin Peaks 💔
He's my cinematic hero. Inspires my reflection of consciousness everyday. ICON
Rip David we all miss you
Dune is one of my favorites
I saw DUNE in theater when I was 9, so for me this movie will always have a special place in my heart even if it's not the one that defines the awesomeness of David Lynch the most.
To this day Lost Highway is still maybe the scariest premise I can think of for a film.
Whenever I think of David Lynch, I immediately conjure up images of Eraserhead. He was a brilliant visionary, unlike any other. I loved all his films and wish he had done more.
In the Town where Twin Peaks was filmed there’s a small memorial in front of Twede’s Cafe.
Rip David Lynch
Lynch and Cronenberg are tied as my absolute favorite filmmakers. The world of cinema lost a great visionary today. RIP David Lynch.
I love the Dune movie. I am going to watch it tonight to celebrate his memory.
Twin Peaks was a little early for me to understand but my older siblings watched it but my favorite was Mulholland Drive thanks for acknowledging his passing they didn’t report it on the news
I have been a huge David Lynch fan since Twin Peaks. I have seen through some news stories and interviews now, and so far my absolute favourite has not been mentioned by name.
Lost Highway is literally my favourite movie of all. I love Seven Samurai, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Godfather, Taxi Driver, Deer Hunter, Apocalypse Now, Blade Runner, list the greatest.
After 50 watches, it still makes me laugh, cry, and everything in between. Rest well, visionary.
The Grand Dad I never had…He was the change/zeitgeist in the mid 90's that inspired every form of media since. He was the Isaac Newton of Television since Twin Peaks…
He was a true master of cinema. I was looking for his film "Inland Empire", wich I never got to see, when I learned of his passing. Very sad news.
Now all whining that lynch has no sense, can rest now
The passing of a legend.
He's not dead, actually. He just disapeared into the blue box. SilencioooooOOOOOOOOOOO !!!
One of the most unique film makers.
My favourite
Rey had nothing to say. Gee. What a shock.
This did not cover enough David's relationship with philanthropy of the most extraordinary kind… His David Lynch Foundation funded the instruction in the Transcendental Meditation technique for millions of students in at-risk schools and inner city communities, as well as veterans with PTSD, abused women and native Americans. He gathered together dozens of practitioners of TM, such as Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Sting, Hugh Jackman, Katy Perry, Russell Brand and many others, to perform and raise money for his foundation. As a veteran, I know of thousands of men and women who benefited from Lynch's inspiration and wisdom. And his foundation is now funding programs globally. He will be missed, but his foundation's work will continue to enrich, inspire and enlighten millions of people — in a way that expands minds and hearts, even more skillfully than his film-making prowess. David Lynch will live on in the lives of millions of people, and will continue to pave the way for a wise, loving and harmonious world.
Lynch was one of my all time favorite directors.😢
In his life, he was a living legend, now he is a real Legend. A unique creative mind with a brilliant sense of humour and artistic flair for the weird and absurd.

Falling. A true Twin Peaks Fan Will Understand
