INFJ Was INSTANTLY Recognized Outside

I met this INFJ in real life and was able to determine her personality type in LESS THAN a minute. Do you think INFJs have a special aura and intensity that makes them stand out around others?

  1. I don't listen to that kind of music, neither wear that kind of outfit. I'm on the dark side "Your lack of faith is disturbing." Ha-Ha. I didn't know what this INFJ and personality thing was. The manager at my job gave us a personality test. The result : INFJ-T.

  2. -Introvert obvious by demeanour
    -N/S debatable,
-Feeling is high chance as most females tend to be more feely type.
-Judging by looking at how neat/put together she dresses.

I’m INTPšŸ˜‚ you had 50/50 of getting it right.

  3. INFJs are….confidently out of place. If I had to put words to it. I have way too many INFJ friends and family. And they just exude this quiet confidence…with just this very subtle, "oh fuck…oh geez…why did i bother to go outside"

  4. 1. Yup yup yup but no elaboration on the questions, as though there was no thought process or reasons for her choices and giving purely a yes. She comes across as sure of who she is and/or sure of test results.

    2. Maintaining eye contact or that ā€œINFJ stareā€ is not a proper indicator of an INFJ since anyone who is average to confident in social interactions will likely be able to lock eyes with their conversation partner.

    3. You got INFJ on a test. So have millions of people…. The question is will a real INFJ accept test results like the truth? Or really research more to see if it’s true and not take facts at face value? She may have done her research for all I know but someone in the MBTI community who has done some further research would have stumbled upon cognitive functions and not say that they have taken a test for it to be a deciding factor. An INFJ can easily fit in with any of the other types and end up somewhere else so it’s interesting how trusting she was about the results. She said she took the test, but she didn’t mention additions like ā€œmultiple timesā€ for example, which could suggest that she took it from one source. What test is that? Nobody knows but her.

    4. Taking into consideration that INFJs are supposedly only a small percentage of the world population, how did you manage to pick someone by appearance and think that she’s an INFJ? It would be like an insurance agent walking around and choosing a person whom they just know that he/she would buy a particular plan.

    5. Based on vibes and feelings is a yes, but logic is attached to the hip as well. An INFJ will be quite balanced in both instead of picking the far right or far left.

    6. Not so sure about the goal oriented or adaptable question because it depends on what circumstances, I have met Fi doms who are both goal oriented and adaptable.

    7. An art student/someone from the creative department or even INFP for example can be both abstract/conceptual and practical.

    8. She did the test before so she already knows what to expect from you which is really just an audio MBTI test repeated for her. She is obviously going to answer you like how she did the test. And since the questions are based off of a test, how accurate can a few questions be here when compared to others that are at least 30- a few hundred questions long?

    9. I think it’s better to ask questions on the cognitive functions and to give a couple of examples. I wouldn’t even mind short questions but they should be precise and foolproof so as to erase doubt.

    10. IxFPs may also test as judging types due to their Fi which pushes for closure more than perceiving dominants who need as much information possible to conclude, hence vice versa for Ni/Si doms to test as Perceivers.

    11. Unless you sit down for a few more hours or days drilling into her brain, it’s gonna be a lot harder to find an INFJ. I remain neutral for this girl as the questions and her answers are too vague to decipher her true type.

    12. I don’t know typology as much as some of you guys but I’m only going off of the observations. I myself took months to solidify someone’s MBTI type despite having a few clear clues. Because people are so diverse and influenced by numerous factors that they can seem alike in so many ways, that’s why a lot of mistypes happen anyway so I try to take caution especially when things don’t tally or I don’t have enough information pointing towards my suspicions.
