Soooo few corrections: You don't need to do 3 bows, just drop the second and you can stop there.
You also need to have equipped a sword and a shield, for it to work easily. And being in the village does help
Every time you do it, you use a multishot bow in it. Do we have to use multishot?
You don't need to draw the bow either.
After experimenting with the bow method for a while, there is only one thing for me that seems to dictate a successful or unsuccessful attempt and it's how quickly you exit the menu and get back into it after you drop the first bow. For me, if I don't do it INSTANTLY, it almost always fails. Have to hit ++ insanely fast. When I do that it almost always succeeds. If I do it super fast but not instantly dropping the second bow and choosing the item you want to dupe, it still seems to work. But exiting the menu the first time and going back in after you drop the first bow needs to be instant for me. I know right away when I nail it when I can't hit the ++ any faster.
Alright I’m getting it every time, I pause the game right as the green forms, and drop the bow and equip the other, then I do the double tap and drop my other bow, only do 2 drops not three and have a sword and shield on your back, I didn’t have a shield and only got the dupe once in a while but once I added shield I I got it every time

I’ve found the best way to do the glitch is taking the switch off the dock in handheld mode. I’ve had nothing but trouble with the Pro Controller. I’ve also noticed a higher success rate when I click the buttons faster at ++ and then dropping the second bow (also fast). My success rate is garbage when I slow down.

I've been doing it pretty flawlessly and I've noticed that when it stops working for a little, swapping your shields and weapons DOES help, and I think you should only swap to ones without them having fused used on them
Edit: so i just found out that apparently, when I do this glitch at the woodland stable fairy fountain it works almost perfectly every time, so go there if youre trying to do this, my great fairy was unlocked, Im not sure if it works without the great fairy being unlocked
THERE IS NOW A WAY EASIER DUPLICATION GLITCH!!!
(there are a few great tutorial videos already out, but if you're too lazy to look them up here are the steps :] )
1. Drop all of whatever material you want to dupe, then pick them up so they're at the very bottom of your inventory. (also make sure you have an item that you only have one of, you'll see why)
2. Start to shield surf, ZL>X>A
3. AS SOON as you are in the air, open inventory. It will work at any point you are still in the air, but if you do it at the peak height, you can:
4. Start holding items, starting with the item you only have one of, then hold as many (preferably 4 so you dupe 4) of the item you want to dupe as you can
5. Close and reopen inventory to drop the held items, then you can hold another item you have 1x of, followed by 4 more of the item you want to dupe (if you have them ofc)
You can usually get 3, sometimes 4 dupes in one shield surf jump, making 12-16 in about the same amount of time the bow dupe makes 1!!
ALSO, FOR WEAPONS AND SHIELDS THAT YOU DONT WANT TO RISK BREAKING, THERE ARE VIDEOS SHOWING HOW TO DUPE THEM!!!!!
Just make a full dura copy that you never use, and whenever one breaks, use the copy to dupe a new one 🙂

Pakai glitch material. Harus punya diamond karena 500 rupee jadi lebih cepat dapat rupee nya, drop diamond atau material yang mahal ke tanah. Lalu ambil barang tersebut sampai tersimpan di inventory paling bawah atau terakhir. Lalu pakai glitch shield, caranya tekan ZL->lompat->berseluncur pakai shield lalu saat diudara tekan [+] masuk inventory material caranya seperti pakai resep masak, tekan tahan pada item yang hanya ada 1 buah, item yang murah saja, lalu sisa 4 slot diisi dengan diamond atau item yang mahal. Setelah itu keluar dari inventory. Dan diamond akan drop otomatis ke tanah lalu cek inventory, maka jumlah diamond tidak berkurang dan dapat extra diamond yang drop ke tanah. Ulangi saja step tersebut.
not working anymore, I was doing it last week but today does not work.
After about 15-20 attempts i finally started getting the timing of it all down. Duped 10 diamonds in about 5 mins. Awesome vid

I found the most consistent way to perform this. It's based off of the second method for duping items, but you don't even need to time the first pause screen after fusing your item. You can walk around with the item fused, but the only timing that really matters is the timing for the unequip, unpause, pause, requip, drop. You do need to be in a village with a sword and a shield for it to be effective but I've done it this way about 20 times in a row now without fail.
Just so everyone knows theres a 10x better duplication glitch out with shield surfing involved.
