I can't remember the last time I saw Infected Mushroom and Bliss on Monstercat. When I saw this announced I was hyped because its been a while! Now that I have heard this…my god is this incredible! It was a journey from beginning to end, their production for Psytrance is out of this world! This is taking me back to what uncaged was like in 2018 – 2019. Definatly one of the best tracks of 2022!
To think that this now takes the title of the longest Monstercat track in the label is insane, that used to belong to Mitchel Claxton – Wuxia from 2013! Legendary trance track BTW!

This is the new longest song on Monstercat as of now, beating out 'Bliss on Mushrooms' by Infected Mushroom and Bliss (what a coincidence). And it is a 10 minute long ABSOLUTE JOURNEY with insane switchups near the ending.
It's like the cookie is made from all the ingredients that made up the best sounds from older albums. I can definitely hear influences from Legend of the Black Shawarma, Vicious Delicious, Return to the Sauce and BP empire in particular. Face has been melted.
WTF is with this video? Even after a giant dosage of acid, it wouldn't be esthetic or pleasant. It looks like someone made it in 1 hour. I would be more pleased with a black screen than this abomination.

I absolutely love BLiSS and IM, but if I could offer a bit of constructive criticism… You blue balled all of us! The more advanced drop that begins at 8:40 is BEGGING for a second half with the lead a higher octave! I hope Monstercat releases a longer cut for IM25 or else I'll have to learn to mix it in myself!

Okay but the harmony in this is so freaking incredible. This might sound like a bunch of nonsense to anyone who doesn't geek out about music theory like I do, but; I love the (i – bV/Tritone Sub) vamp sequencing down by whole steps in the opening (0:28), and again at 3:46! (And probably many more places)! So many classical musicians bash electronic music for being simple or harmonically primitive so it's really amazing to find a group like Infected Mushroom (and BLiSS of course!) who prove those people wrong time and time again. Masterful producers, AND composers!
