  1. India has an advantage as most of the travellers abroad prefer Indian Companies first and then the rest. In no time, most of the other international airlines will be out of business. Routes to Africa, Philippines are good to at lower costs

  2. If slots are hard to get in Delhi and Mumbai, why shouldn't the Aviation authorities approve more international air services from major airports in southern India such as Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Cochin (especially to Europe, the U.S, Canada and Australia)??? The focus is still on expanding air services and routes from Delhi and Mumbai. This should change.

  3. Indian economy's size is 3.5 trillion USD while China is 18 trillion USD. At least more than 5 times the size of India's. In 1991 the year when economic reforms began in India, China's economy was smaller than India's.
Goldman Sachs China's GDP growth rate 2023 forecast 6%. Moody's predicts India's GDP growth rate to be 5.5 %.
Wish India well with sustainable development.

  4. India needs to make Soviet era An-2 biplanes with electric drive, cheap and useful for many jobs.

Also see Otto Aviation laminar flow design, extremely efficient push prop.

Jets are stupid and small ones should be banned.

  5. I pass from kurla aviation strip and see rusting jet airways aircrafts. Sushant singh rajput had also shared facts about it. How Jet airways owner and business was connected with INC government and Etihad airways which is UAE govt owned. Now in bjp government Spice jet took over. Who knows tomorrow what facts about corruption comes out in bjp regime?

  6. Another sign of desperation from Lousy Palki to keep repeating same thing over and over again, even after it has been “news” more than one year ago.

UDAAN was Launched way back by Modi and is Not new News like Lousy Palki seems to suggest as if she found it first. Almost 95% of UDAAN airports have already started functioning even BEFORE the “Pandemic” 😂😂 So Polki is 3 years Late as usual.

The Only great things in this “news” are (again, they are all More than 3 years old).

    1) UDAAN – Even smaller airports like Kolhapur, Shirdhi, Kurnool, Tuticorin have started having full , absolutely full flights Everyday !!

    2) Increasing Number of airports – Really slow because of so much capital intensive efforts. Will be Very slow but Cannot complain. Really happy with progress.

    WHAT IS NOT TRUE:
    1) Air India’s “500 Flights Order” .. You tell me why would a Loss making Carrier would place such a Large – Not just Large but Humongously Large Order , especially when Aviation fuel is so prohibitively expensive !! That too Brainlessly like 250 Airbus, 250 Boeing 🤣🤣🤣 How many Billions it will cost to buy and store spares for so many types of planes !! AND DESPITE the fact that they Also own Air Asia !!

    CHALLENGES –
Majority of Indian Airports cannot handle more than 6-7 aircrafts at their Main Bridges. So lot of planes are made to land way out on the runway and passengers are bussed to/from the terminals.

Especially the Smaller airports cannot even handle even medium sized planes so only turboprops (ATR-72) are used. Again, this is ok for now and 5 years out.. the sizes of airports have to grow, more than new airports.
