Navi Mumbai , is a planned city situated on the west coast of the Indian subcontinent, located in the Konkan division of Maharashtra state, on the mainland of India. Navi Mumbai is part of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). The city is divided into two, North Navi Mumbai and South Navi Mumbai, for the individual development of Panvel Mega City, which includes the area from Kharghar to Uran, including the Taloja node.
These nodes were named Airoli, Ghansoli, Kopar Khairane, Juhu Nagar, Vashi, Turbhe, Sanpada, Juinagar, Nerul, Darave, Karave Nagar, CBD Belapur, Kharghar, Kamothe, New Panvel, Kalamboli, Ulwe, Dronagiri and Taloja.

Besides, there are physical limitations to the growth of a city built on a long and narrow peninsula, which has very few connections with the mainland.One of its major recommendations was that a rail-cum-road bridge is built across the Thane Creek to connect peninsular Mumbai with the mainland. The group felt that the bridge would accelerate development across the Creek, relieve pressure on the city’s railways and roadways, and draw away industrial and residential concentrations eastward to the mainland. The Group hoped that the eastward development would be orderly and would take place in a planned manner.

  14. 1.16 .. Did anyone noticed a tight black thing flying in the air.. If I am not wrong that picture was taken 7- 8 years before wright brother flew their first aeroplane.. And it is stated in another video of praveen mohan that this object is some flying object made by a then Indian scientist

  19. It is not possible to compare any Indian city with what exists elsewhere in the world in terms of urban planning. Even south east Asian countries have better cities than us. As long as we keep urbanizing, we will keep establishing cities away from the city center. So some places will have unplanned density while others will create their own oasis inside the big walls. You don't even have peace in the city because of constant honking noice. NO wonder everyone who have the opportunity want to leave india for better life outside.

Bhai can u please make a video on "What if Pune and Mumbai become a single city" probably because development of two cities have become to close to each other. please make a video is it possible that Pune and Mumbai will be directly connected without any long roads between them. For example a Single metro line which covers both Mumbai and Pune cities. What will be the GDP of that future city then?

  42. Wrong info about Reliance Corporate Office. Jio and RIL (MDAG) corporate office is in Reliance Corporate IT Park at Ghansoli.

    Dhirubhai Ambani Knowledge City (DAKC) of Anil Ambani (ADAG) is in Koparkhairne; Jio is not part of it.
