Indianapolis Colts – Frank Reich to Carolina! Shane Steichen might be perfect! TJD jets up IU lists!

Shane Steichen might be the perfect choice as Colts coach, but will Jim Irsay accept that he’s more qualified than Jeff Saturday?

If Jeff Saturday is the guy, will you abandon the Colts as your team?

Trayce Jackson-Davis did something last night no college baller has done since 2009! And the Hoosiers needed all of it!

Purdue @ Michigan and IU Women’s Basketball team game overlap tonight. Who are you watching?

  1. I'm always going to be the biggest Colts fan, West of the Mississippi, no matter who we get as head coach. Although I've always been a little partial to the Bengals since they are my grandfather's favorite team, I have been bleeding blue as long as I can remember! My grandfather doesn't like the Colts because of the whole moving from Baltimore in the middle of the night thing…I hear that from a lot of the older generation people…

  5. Frank was just simply too nice a guy to be a HC. He's going to struggle in Carolina for the same reasons he struggled in Indy… If you don't hole players accountable, then they won't play as well as they can. (e.g. our O-line last year).

  6. I haven't watched enough Eagles games but, my biggest fear with Steichen would be that it might be the same scheme as Reich.

I actually don't mind Reich but, my goodness, can we have routes besides: shallow cross, short hitch, and wr screen. I am just not crazy about the mesh concept. It makes the field seem small, compare that to say, Andy Reid who makes the field seem enormous.

  7. HA, Carolina a good place for Reich!!! Let's trade our first round pick for Wentz and other assets, let's put all of our chips in the Matt Ryan retirement party. Those are just a few of Reich's gaffs and horridness. Let's not forget he took a playoff team with tons of talent to getting eliminated for playoff contention by the team who had the first pick in the next draft (jags). Jags were a clown-show at that time and Reich managed to lose to them and of course his horrible loss to the Raiders the game before and miserable starts to the season and horrible starts to games. Other than that, you are in great shape. Much less his awful QB and talent assessments. Carolina, get your corn-hole ready!

  8. WOO! Kent from old has returned to the building.

Don't poopoo Saturday for being successful while pitching his plan as a coach.

Don't run onto the court at Assembly Hall; Ever!

Congrats to Jackson-Davis! He's no Henderson, but he's not had much help along his way.

  9. Oh man, Kent. Pleeeeease tell me Frank isn't coming to Carolina. And I thought with Rhule gone and other changes, along with the draft, we might become a contending team. Worrisome. BTW, hello, and I hope you and Julie are doing awesome!!
Any idea if Ryan is going to retire. I saw he was commentating on CBS Sports. I thought he did a great job. I wonder if the Colts will release him and eat that cap or what. What do you think, my friend?

  10. I love Frank Reich but as you pointed out, if I was from Indy, I'd feel quite different. I hope we don't lose Shane Steichen, but I enjoy the
Eagles/Colts connection if this is the way it turns out. You'll be able to interview DeMeco Ryans Sunday night I'm hoping! I know you really like.
Coach Nick, and thanks for saying what a surprising great coach he turned into. Great video Kent, very enjoyable!

  11. Kent, calm down…Reich will do well. Refocus, Irsay is the problem. Irsay let Peyton Manning go, one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history. Manning went on to play in two Superbowls…winning one.

  12. Steve Wilks lawyers are bringing a suit over the Panthers hire of Frank Reich as their head coach. Steve Wilks lawyers are "Shocked and Disturbed" over the hiring because of the Rooney Rule.

  13. Love your content Kent, but you're wrong about something as trivial as curse words. Dungy did the same thing and held the same demeanor as Reich and was… Pretty successful.

  14. “Once you diss our town”? From all I’m seeing , Frank has been nothing but understanding and thankful to Irsay and the franchise, with no “dissing” or disrespectful comments? Kent you need to chill man, need to just be happy the man has a shot somewhere else where MAYBE he’ll actually have the same QB for more than a year 🤡

  15. Shane Steichen is also my choice , I think imperative, we hire an offensive minded coach, especially if we plan on drafting a quarterback, we need a coach that can help the team offensively

  16. If someone become a fan of another team because their team isn’t doing good are they really a fan? I always you pick a team and stick with em no matter what, just like a marriage lol . Nothing worse than a bandwagon fan

  17. There's a couple guys i wouldn't mind having coach the Colts Steichen is one of them i also like Brian Callahan Bengals offensive coordinator though I've met Saturday and will vouch for his character and ability to lead having met Saturday in a non football environment. If its Saturday hopefully they sign a great offensive coordinator and if Saturday doesn't work out this season will already have the coach who will lead the Colts into the future in place and familiar with the roster and the other coaches. I don't see it as a complete rebuild but will take a couple years to get where the Colts want to be. Either way the Colts are my team i will ride and die with them. I'm goin all the way the Horseshoe is tattooed on my chest right over my heart. Been a lifelong fan since the Colts moved to Indianapolis from Baltimore. Even in 1991 1-15 season all the three win seasons in the 80's and the 2011 Peyton Manningless confusion we were living in for the first time since 1998. I just wish the Irsay family would change the teams name to the Indiana Colts to reflect the segment of the fan population who live outside the city in rural places though its far from a terminal issue .. I would never leave the Colts as a fan over something so petty its just something id like to see happen
Wheres the suggestion box at Lucas Oil Stadium lol
