Indianapolis Colts -Anthony Richardson would be mistake! Holtmann beats Furious Fran! Pacers tonite!

Anthony Richardson is a year or two from being able to function against complex NFL defenses, and Jim Irsay is always two bad games from swapping quarterbacks. Than is a combustable combination bad for the franchise – and for Richardson.

Furious Fran is on his way back to Iowa City after Chris Holtmann gave him a Chicago-style spanking in the Big 10 Tournament!

Pacers host the woeful Houston Rockets tonight in a battle of not yet ready to compete for a championship franchises!!

  1. Your not just moving up 3 picks. 2 top QBs will be taken in the first 3. Texans for sure. Then someone will move to 1 or 3 (Cardinals won't move from their QB). Colts have no choice but to grab their ankles and take it. Guaranteed Texans take Stroud or Young so whoever picks first will get one of those guys. Or take Levis at four and wait the 2 years for him to be minimally acceptable

  2. One day, you say the colts can't pay the price of moving up to get the qb they want, then the next you say they must so they don't end up with Richardson. If they sit where they are, it's either Richardson, Hooker, or Levis. Levis, who you've said repeatedly that can't play.

  3. So what happens when we trade up and get rid of all our draft picks and the QB turns out to be a bust? There's a lot of maybe's but Richardson has the highest ceiling and if we hit we are set for the next 10+ years. DO NOT trade up. Specially for these qbs.

  4. If Richardson is there at 4 take him. If he isn't trade back, take a safe pick like Maher or someone else idc who really, sign Mariottta or someone equivalent on the cheap and TANK TANK TANK for JJ McCarthy. That kids the real deal. We aren't competing in 2023 no matter what. Let's get this right this time even if that means one more year of a band aid at QB. Go ahead and tell me why my reasoning is flawed if you can. It's less flawed than any QB prospect in this draft… The undersized guy, the guy who has progression issues, the guy who makes way too many simple mistakes, the guy who has almost zero experience or the 26 year old with a torn acl. Personally I'd rather wait on the guy with a 68% completion rate and only 5 picks who's currently being coached by the same man who coached Andrew Luck.

  5. i disagree respectfully. Lamar had accuracy issues for his first couple years. he was mocked for being a rb playing qb. then BOOM MVP. i confess richardsons tape isn’t as impressive as lamar’s. I still think u stay at 4 and take him vs give up future first rounds for stroud or young. i could be wrong tho🤷‍♂️

  6. I don’t see the risk in taking Richardson. Every rookie quarterback is a risk, and I don’t think anyone is expecting to win the superbowl in year one with a rookie qb. The upside is that we may be able to get him at 4, and not lose them future 1st round picks.

  7. Somebody’s taking a quarterback number one and number 2.
My feeling is stroud is the guy. Richardson will be there at 4 all day long. But Bryce and Stroud will be gone. Texans seem shady. Sounds crazy, but I’m trading up to one. We do t have to sacrifice a number one pick next year witch will be a top ten pick. If the rumors about Chris trading Buckner are true to get another first round pick this year I can see trading Pittman as well to the bears maybe a fourth rounder and a third rounder next year. There’s no winning this. Maybe with Buckner. Just go to complete rebuild. Buckner is the anchor on that d-line but it’s time to rebuild this whole thing. I can see Pittman and Buckner going to Chicago. I know they need a receiver and who wouldn’t want Buckner. They’re making out real good. Sound crazy I know. Though next year tons of cap space , another top ten pick. Will have our quarterback, and a better understanding of the offensive scheme. There’s the money to sign anybody right there. There’s a good young receiver whos 23 in Denver we can sign now Jerry Jeudy. Resign parris and got speed that kills.
